Objectives

- To secure the Irish side of the border with Northern Ireland at Ballyshannon, Dundalk, Lilford, and Cavan.

- To observe movement between the borders with special attention being emphasized towards The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) and Her Majesty's Armed Forces.​

Deployment

- 1st Armoured Cavalry -> Dundalk
- 1st Cavalry -> Lilford
- Alpha Artillery -> Ballyshannon
- Sierra Artillery -> Cavan
- 10th Army Rangers Wing -> Dundalk​
