At Dawn on February 12th, 2014 the unthinkable happened in Ireland...
After months of non stop hostility and resentment against the United Kingdom coupled with a growing national debt and a miserable campaign to bring about the reunification of the island by force of arms, the people decided on their free will that enough was enough. The current administration had finally witnessed the people's wrath as citizens poured into the chambers of Dàil Èireann angered by the inefficency and ineptitude of their government.
The Free Socialist Worker's Party and Dissident Nationalists had merged to form what they termed to be a united front against three evils - Capitalism, War, and Corruption. several thousand men armed with hunting rifles and assault rifles took to the streets calling themselves the People's Guard.
Joined by men and women from the ranks of the Garda they managed to obtain access to several armouries throughout Dublin with the goal of distributing weapons to the workers in order to arrest the politicians, bankers, and bosses for trial at at a later date not yet determined.
At Dublin Castle, The Tricolour hauled down and replaced with a Green Flag bearing a starry plough symbolizing the new order of things...the worker, peasant, artisan, and teacher had now to build up a socialist republic.
