OFFICIAL STATEMENT BY THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT
Vladimir Putin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Empire, At the Kremlin
In a small room within the walls of the Kremlin, Putin would stand behind a podium, surrounded by cameras and journalists. The following statement would be broadcasted all across the world in Russian but would be offered with subtitles for various languages. "Since the fall of the Turkish government in February of this year and the end of their genocide against the Jewish, Kurdish, Armenians, and other minorities within their borders, it has been a stance of the Russian Empire that the largest threat to Asian and world stability and peace is the People's Republic of China. During the war against Turkey and its genocide, the 'government' of Beijing knowingly armed the Turkish Armed Forces to aid in murdering Coalition soldiers and extend the genocide—costing thousands of lives to be lost. In the past, they have sold ballistic missiles with ranges greater than three-thousand kilometers to second and third world countries to who the reach of the laws of the Global Assembly is limited. This is not mentioning all the territorial claims that Beijing is attempting to place on its neighbors. With this said, Russia has taken it upon itself to assure that the influence of Beijing is as repressed as it possibly can. For the last five months, I have worked alongside the Prime Minister of the State of Japan to come up with and ratify an official alliance between our states: The Treaty For the Upholding of Asian Peace. Within this treaty, we have entered an official mutual defense pact alongside Japan housing Russian troops in ex-American bases on Okinawa island. But most importantly, within this treaty, we have tasked ourselves to begin containing Beijing influence. The first of many steps in doing so is to officially recognize the Republic of Taiwan as the Republic of China—the rightful and only successor of the Republic of 1912. The Russian Embassy in Beijing is officially being demoted to a diplomatic mission to house aid for Russian nationals and the Russian diplomatic mission in Taipei is being brought up to an embassy. Therefore, Russia's recognition of the People's Republic of China as a state is officially being withdrawn. Lastly, any territorial claims made by Beijing is officially denied by Moscow and any attempts at enforcing these claims with force will be met with swift action from Russia." With that, he would pile up the papers in front of him. "That is all." The broadcast ended. |
