Both ships would depart from their home port in the Province of Buenos Aires, fully crewed and supplied and head in the pre-determined direction eastwards towards the open South Atlantic ocean. Their journey would take them through international waters near the coast of South Africa and then northeast crossing through the indian ocean towards Chennai.

The crews, specially the one of the ARA Mariano Moreno, would use the trip to carry out different routine drills and the crew would also stay in shape by eprforming technical and physical tasks around the ship. Although no complication was expected, a minimal crew would always remain on alert for potential threats, while the rest would either be focused on their training or the operational tasks of the ships 8ensuraing safety of navigation).

The ships would travel at fuel efficient speed at a safe distance from each other, but always within visual range from each other, remaining in constant communications. They would be using their radars and sensors, scanning the area for potential traffic.

The Indian Navy would be informed of the progress.

As scheduled, at the predetermined point of distance between departure and arrival location the argentine navy replenishment vessel would transfer fuel to the destroyer, filling up its reserve and allowing him to continue the journey safely towards India. The process would also be used as a good opportunity to practice this always delicate maneuver, as the refueling would be done in movement through the Berezina's replenishment systems.

With the process completed, the ships would split, with the ARA Mariano moreno continouing on the direct route to Chennai, India, and the logistics vessel turning around and heading back to Puerto Belgrano in Argentina. Both ships would have enough supplies and fuel to do their respective journeys safely, following the same navigational parameters as in the first section of the deployment.

India would privately be informed that the ARA Mariano Moreno was expected to arrive in the coming days.

The crew would prepare themselves for the arrival while the bridge would prepare the ship for the last strech of sea to be crossed, carefully looking out for the surrounding traffic to avoid any incidents.

Meanwhile, some few thousand nautical miles to the west, the argentine navy replenishment vessel would arrive back to its home port and resume their routine duties.
