OPERATION QUICK RETALIATION​ Classified Information ​

Operation Background

After the french attack against Argentina, a quick reaction plan was to be set in motion until a full war plan was ready. It was decided that the argentine submarine fleet stationed in Alexandria was to immediatly prepare to set out towards the western mediteranean sea, to blockade and sink any french war vessels moving out from southern France or crossing coming in from the Atlantic. All aerial and maritime defenses were set ready and on red alert in Alexandria. SAM Systems, Radars and Coastal defences included. All personnel would be put in alert, including naval ships, Marines Stationd there and aerial units. QRF were set by the Argentine Air Force.

Logistical Details

All submarines would be fully manned, supplied and armed (carrying each a max. complement of Type 613 anti-shipping torpedos for its 533mm tubes and deployable naval mines). All submarines would be set to depart once ready, divided in 4 stages of 2 submarines each, sailing together and once in the open sea, dive to operational depth using the lessons learned during all the recent exercises and with the navigational data collected during all of them. After few hours they would separate and continue towards the final area of operations (JN) alone and in complete radio silence and in silent running to avoid detection. They would begin seeking for french targets once there. All their sensors and radars would be operating, guaranteeing a safe navigation, considering both terrain and vessels in the area (both enemy and neutral). A clear order was given to NOT disrupt or interfere with commercial maritime traffic from neutral nations. KM>JM>JN (always on international or french waters) All the present information was top secret.

OPERATION FORCED REVOLUTION​ Classified Information ​

Operation Background

As part of the war efforts, the argentine war command has determined that the french held territories in South America and in the Caribbean represent potential foot holds of France in the area and have to be eliminated. To achieve this, the Argentine Navy has been tasked with preparing and launching a Task Force to secure those territories. The first step was to take out the most important one, French Guyana. Although not yet formally called to assist, Brazil would be informed of these Operations.

The brazilian Government would be privately informed of the operation. All Marines in the Task Force would have all their necesary equipment to engage in combat. Fuel, ammunition and spare parts for all loaded land vehicles, helicopters and landing crafts would also be carried in the supply ships. Air crews would be on board in ships with helicopters. Whene everything would be assembled and loaded, the operationd would be ready to go.

Operation Background
As part of the war efforts consequence of the french aggresion, the military command of Argentina was tasked to privately prepare plans for a landing in the Island Corsica. Studies have begun to launch the assault from Alexandria once aerial and maritime superiority has been obtained.

Logistical Details

GG>HH>HI>HJ>HK>IL>IM>JN All vessels would depart fully supplied and fully armed, carrying the same loadout as the ones employed in Operation Forced Independence. They would navigate on argentine and international waters only and with all systems and radars on, scanning for hazards. They would navigate at a safe distance from each other, protecting the LPDs and resupply ship, which would deliver fuel or other supplies if required. Green light to enter sector IM would only be given once naval and aerial superiority was guaranteed.

OPERATION MONKEY WALL​ Classified Information ​

Operation Background

As part of the war efforts consequence of the french aggresion, all argentine cyber defenses would be tightened and the flow of information would specially be monitored to detect any inconsistency. Units of Operatives would be prepared to design and launch massive cyber attacks to render french defenses useless. This would be accompanied by all argentine aerial and naval defenses be specially guarded from potential attacks. (all these defenses would be up and running). Vital argentine civilian infrastructure would also be protected.

All untis would be fully manned and crewed, carefully monitoring activity to be ready to counter as soon as possible if a threats comes up.

Operation Forced Revolution -
With everything set and ready, all vessels would depart according to the details specified in the deployment post. They would carefully leave their bases coordinating every movement to avoid any potential hazard and head northeast towards the outer limit of the argentine EEZ, where they would slowly go into formation.

They would spread out, with the LPDs and Auxiliary Fleet vessels in the center, surrounded by the Frigates. All navigating at max speed possible (leveled to be all at the same pace) and safe distances from one another in constant communication and with all their systems monitoring.

The two Type A039 submarines and the ARA Puerto Enriqueta (F245) would pull up and being navigating few hundred nm before the main Task Force, acting as scouting units, spread out and scannign the area.

They would navigate through international waters and the journey was expected to last 3 days. Refueling was done if necesary.

Operation Quick Retaliation -
All 8 Gotland Class submarines would depart the Alexandria HQ, according to the details specified in the deployment post, and begin navigating safely and scanning in silence northwest.

The ARA Alerce Replenishment Ship would carry 120x fully equiped argentine marines.

The small task force of three ships would be fully manned, crewed and fueled. The Goshkov-class frigates loaded with a standard loadout:

OPERATION DEEP OCEANS​ Classified Information ​

Operation Background

As part of the argentine war efforts against France, and to cover the assets involved in other argentine operations around the globe, a "safety net" was deemed necesary to block any french offensive accross the Atlantic Ocean, and to supplement Operation Quick Retaliation. For this, the Naval Command has decided o deploy several submarines and scatter them around the North Atlantic Ocean, between Europe and South America. The submarines will receive support from replenishment vessels operating in the area to guarantee continuous and safe operations. Commercial traffic and neutrally flagged vessels will not be engaged under any circumstance. French Navy vessels will be sunk on sight.

Logistical Details

Each Gotland-Class Submarine would be loaded with 16x Torped 62. The area of operation would be limited to international waters in sectors HJ - HK - HL - GL - GK. They would travel on the fastest route possible (just as all other operations ongoing), in international waters, using FE>GF>HG> HH>HI. All submarines and ships would be fully loaded, manned and supplied before departure, including the replenishment vessels, which would load all necesary equipment to resupply the submarines adn spare parts to service the submarines in case necesary. Air crews would be on board of the corresponding ships. Resupplying tasks would be done on international waters, on specially designated areas, which would shift from day to day. All submarines would have the emergency contact information and all planned coordinates to find the resupplying vessels. Submarines are to operate in complete stealth mode and silent running, carefully listeing to acusting signatures and other data to avoid collisions with other traffic or maritime obstacles, navigating safely at all times, following standard operational protocol. Once ready the ships would depart, with the submarines diving once enough and safe depth is reached. Resupply would be provivded whenever necesary through the Replenishment Vessels. The surface vessels would accompany and travel accoridng to the planned route, and halt in the northern limit of sector HI.

Operation Background

As part of the argentine war efforts against France, and to cover the assets involved in other argentine operations around the globe, a Task Force was to be established to liberate several french colonies in the Indian Ocean. The fleet were to navigate straight away, not interfering with commercial traffic and neutral flagged vessels and try to force the surrender of the local french resistance without violence.

24h OOC lapse UPDATE: Operation Quick retaliation -

All 8 Gotland Class submarines would now be in sector JN and have entered french territorial waters, they would begin roaming the surroundings of the major ports of Marseille, Toulon and Ajjacio, looking out for potential hazards. They would still be on silent running with no radio communication and at safe operational depth, scanning both surface for enemy threats with their active sonars and the ground for terrain hazards, including other argentine submarines operating in the area. In case of emergency they would surface. In case of low fuel or supplies, they would leave the sector in time to reach Alexandria safely, notifying HQ before departing.

They would operate scatered around the sector on french territorial waters. There would be no sign of their activity on the surface, being completely undetected.

No enemy units would be detected at the moment, considering that the surface ships crashed and the submarines sank, as roleplayed in the thread "Operation Blunder". HOwever, specila attetnion would be given to any ship crossing the sector.

All torpedo tubes would be charged and ready to be used in case of an enemy appeared.

Operation Forced Independence:

The Argentine Task Force, consisting of 25 vessels, between frigates, destroyers, submarines and support ships and their helicopters, would have arrived by now to sector GJ.

The main bulk of the Task Force would take static and safe defensive positions ca. 434nm northeast from Cayenne, while the forward group consisting of the Type 039A submarines and the ARA Puerto Enriqueta (F245) , which had been navigating several kilometers ahead of the main group of the Task Force would advance closer to Cayenne.

All vessels in the TF would have resupplied and recharged if requried during the journey. The main Frigates and Destroyers of the Task Force would take positions surrounding the LPDs and auxiliary ships, forming several layers of defences against missile (Air-to-Surface and Surface-to-Surface) and torpedo threats, combining their radar and combat systems for enhanced capabilities. All defense systems were active, scanning for threats. The crews would be in battle stations. Including flight crews. All systems and weapons booted up and online.

The Gorshkov-Class Frigate would have engaged its 3M14T variant kalibr missiles, targeting potential military targets in Cayenne (using its TK-28 [5P-28] OTH targeting system)- . All other ships were ready to engage.

The Type 054-Class Frigate would navigate in direct course to Cayenne and have (like all the rest of the fleet) all its systems and radars active and scanning. It would come to a halt at 140km northeast from Cayenne. The Type 039A Submarines would continue navigating at safe operational depth in silence heading southwest at slow speed, to reduce their acoustic signature and to remain at a safe distance from any potential threat from the Port of Cayenne.

The ARA Viamonte would be located southwest of the ARA Puerto Enriqueta, while the ARA Quiroga would be positioned southeast of the frigate. Both submarines would be actively hearing for threats, with all torpedo tubes loaded. They would slowly close in to a as near as 20km from the Port of Cayenne, coming from the mentioned vectors )watching out for potential ocean floor threats, and avoiding them if necesary). They would remain stealthy and undetected, with orders to engage if they picked up any launching from any ship in port. As soon as they were in range, they were to sweep the coast for docked enemy ships.

With all its systems scanning and watching for any enemy signals, and with its missiles ready to be fired as soon as a target was acquired (already booted up) and the roder given, the ARA Puerto Enriqueta would repeatedly broadcast a directed radio message towards Cayenne:


"ATTENTION ATTENTION. DEFENCE FORCES AND AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF CAYENNE AND FRENCH GUYANA. PLEASE IDENTIY YOURSELF. THIS IS F245 ARGENTINE NAVY PUERTO ENRIQUETA. (The operation was still secret, France or any other nation would have no data regarding how many ships would be out there or where they were positioned. As no defence actions were mentioned by the french, it would be assumed that no battle stations or ships in the harbour or coast would be manned and crewed and much less with their systems ready to be used.)

Operation Deep Ocean:

By now, all Gotland-Class Submarines would have reached the designated area of operations. They would slowly scatter around it, submerged and stealthy, scanning actively for maritime traffic and specially for french navy ships. They had orders to attack any french military vessel in the area.

Neutral maritime traffic was not to be disturbed. The submarines would always operate on international waters, operating at a safe depth and surfacing in case of emergency. They would use charts and their systems to avoid any ocean floor hazard (however, these were rare due to the deep part of the ocean they were operating in. Or other submarines and ships.

The support ships would also remain in their specially designated positions and switch between the pre-established resupply points, to serve supplies to the submarines in case necesary. They would be in constant contact with the argentine naval command.

All Gotland-Class submarines would roma the seas, scattered and operatin on their own, predating on french ships. They would have all of their torpedo tubes loaded with Torped 62, ready to be launched. The crew would be at their duty stations.

All this would be secret.

Operation Payback:

With the fleet arrived to sector IM, it would contact the Alexandria Naval Base over an encrypted and secure line as to receive updates on their initial orders. Alexandria, having been informed of the lack of french war vessels in the Mediterranean Sea, and the succesfull blockade of southern France, and after consulting with the Military Command back in Buenos Aires, would update the orders of the fleet operating under Operation Payback.

Instead of heading to Corsica to carry out a landing, the fleet was to continue southeast towards Alexandria and report in there.

They would continue at full speed in a pack, crossing only international waters and argentine waters towards sector JM-KM. Operation Forced Revolution:

The small Task Force specially asigned to navigate towards New Caledonia would have arrived to sector RG by now. Ressuplies would have been provided if required.

The 2 Gorshkov-Class Frigates would take the lead in their final approach towards Numea, the administrative center of New Caledonia, approaching from the southeast at a medium speed of 15kn. They would have all their sensors, radars and systems active, scanning for threats in the area, specially coming from the islands that made New Caledonia.

They would be navigating with a distance of around 4km between them, with the ARA Alerce coming in behind, around 80km southest of the positions of the Gorshkov-Class Frigates, protected by the layered defenses of the ARA Indomita and ARA Tempestad. All three ships would be in constant encrypted communication.

They would effectively enter the french territorial waters surrounding New Caledonia and the Indomita would come to a halt around 100km southeast of the main island, while the Tempestad would come to visual range of the islands (10km) and activate its LWR (the ARA Alerce would do the same what at a safe distance form the other two warships, 110km southeast of Numea). The Furke-E and 3Ts-25 radars would be sweeping the area for surface and aerial threats.

Battle stations would be taken at all three ships, with every system used and the weapons ready to be fired upon order.

With all its systems scanning and watching for any enemy signals, and with its missiles ready to be fired as soon as a target was acquired (already booted up) and the order given, the ARA Tempestad would repeatedly broadcast a directed radio message towards Numea, New Caledonia:

The new orders would be to split up and instead of taking over the french islands of Reunion and Majotte, they would take possession of the French Southern and Antarctic Lands. For this, they would split up. These islands were not subject of the vile Treat of Philipsburg, so they were still undeniably under french control.

The fleet would be split up into smaller operational units (before separating form the resupply ship, they would fully resupply with everything needed to continue their operations). They would continue on international and french waters, navigating on the shortest routes available. All their systems and radars would be active.

The fleet, now navigating in sector JM, would receive an urgent contact from HQ, indicating new orders, again. The Task Force was to redirect to Corsica and take over the island, beginning with its capital Ajaccio. Resupply would be provided if needed by the Replenishment Vessel.

The ships would turn and navigate through international waters, on the most direct route possible. They would enter french territorial waters and position themselves 40km southwest of Ajaccio. They would position themselves, static, in a protective layout (LPDs and Replenishment vessel in the center), having all their radars and systems operational and connected to provide enhanced defensive capacities. All personnel would be in their battle stations and all weapon systems would be booted up. The Marines in the LPD's would begin gearing up for landing, and disembark vehicles would begin being prepared for operations.

The submarines of Operation Quick Retaliation would be providing cover, operation in the Mediterranean french territorial waters.

No defensive enemy activities have been announced by France, therefore it would be assumed that no defensive actions were taken in the Corsica region.

Far Horizons:
By now, all ships bound for the northern islands (not yet those headed for Crozet and Kerguelen), would have arrived at the islands and would aproach the known landing points near settlements and camps. No french defensive forces were identified. They would all proceed with the same modus operandi, adapted to the grographic circumstances of each island to avoid any endangering of the vessels or operations. The ships would position them selves 3km northeast off the coasts of each of the involved islands: Messages from each of the Frigates would be broadcasted on radio to the french camps they were targeting, where available (considering some of the islands where not inhabited): The french personnel would be informed that the Republic of Argentina was taking over control of the islands, they were allowed to continue their scientific duties, but the land was now under argentine control. No armed personnel was present in any of the stations (it was never stated).
Once transmitted, each of the frigates would prepare, fully supply and crew, their on board Ka-27 helicopters. Besides the crew needed to fly the helicopters, each Ka-27 would be carrying two argentine navy officers, fully equiped for the operation and armed with their reglamentary 9mm Bersa Thunder 9 and 2 additional magazines. They would have orders to simply notify the station leader of the takeover, that they could continue their work and that the argentine fleet would remain in the area. French flags would be taken down and replaced by argentine on each of the islands. The officers would act with caution on their first approach, as to not run any risks coming from the french. The helicopters would flight in the most direct route, avoiding any obstacles and touch down in safe areas next to the station buildings or on the small airstrips available in some of the islands. Once their mission was complete, they would return on the same route to their ships.
Meanwhile, ARA General Arenales (C1020) ARA Ceibo (A962) would continue southwards towards their indicated destination.

The fleet would approach and take static, safe and secure positions 8km southwest off Ajaccio (Sector JN), next to 41°51'16.7"N 8°41'27.9"E. The LPDs safely protected by the escort ships would begin the landing process in the area of Ajaccio, Corsica. No french resistance was noted, no enemy systems booted up were detected. ARA Yaguareté would begin preparing the launching of 3 of their LCU Mk. II (fully fueled and crewed), each loading 100x fully equipped marines (carrying their standard loadout and equipment, rations for 7 days and extra ammunition, but within the limits of what they can carry without hindering their capacity to operate), most of them caryring the standard assault configuration with the M16A2 as main weapon, but with a balanced and logical distribution of combat roles including but not limited to sniper, anti-vehicle, communicacion and enginners). All platoons and smaller units would have a communications officer assigned, as well as anti-vehicle and machine gun-carrying soldiers. Equipment: Combat Uniform, Helmet, Gloves - Boots, Goggles, Military Backpack, Bulletproof vest, Survival kit, Combat knife, Bersa Thunder 9, Additional ammunition for their main and secondary guns. The mounted 12.7mm/50 MG Burst machine guns would be manned and had enough ammunition for 10 rounds. once all set, they would launch. The Frigates would be scanning for threats, using their CIWS and weapons to provide aerial cover for the LCU's. The 5x Agusta Bell 212 would be fully fueled, manned and prepared to be launched. Each would be carrying 10 fully equipped and supplied troops in their assault (M16A2) configuration. They would be tasked with transporting reinforcements towards indicated sites when and if required. They would be position on deck and ready to take off. They had instructions, and had prepared a plan to take control of the airport of Ajaccio, which was contacted to confirm that NO civilian air operations were active at this very moment. All flights would be rerouted, contacted by the Anti-Air Frigates of the argentine fleet. Once the LCU's were ready, they would be launched towards the designated landing sites, navigating at full speed in a direct route avoiding potential obstacles and taking evasive maneuvers in case of being attacked (not probable as no defenses anywhere in the area where detected visually or electronically). Two of the LCU's would land side to side (safe distance) and at the same time at the beach located in 41°54'44.8"N 8°43'32.3"E, while the third one would do the same in the beach located at 41°54'57.3"N 8°44'21.2"E. The landing gate would be lowered and the troops would disembark in an orderly fashion, as trained, cross the few meters of shallow water without problems, and rush towards the back of the beach running for cover and securing the sectors, if no opposition was presented (no opposition was roleplayed by france beforehand), the cityhall and city would be taken and secured. Machin gun fire from the LCU's would be provided if necesary. Civilians and infrastructure would not be attacked. If any civilian present, they would be quickly ordered to leave the area and go back to their homes. All this would be monitored from the rest of the fleet, ready to launch reinforcements and to provide fire cover if required. The submarines of Operation Quick retaliation would still be in the area, undetected.

Far Horizons: All ships that had already arrived at their designated destinations stated in post #15, successfully took over the mentioned islands without any resistance from the French. As stated, the argentine flag would be flying over islands and the Ka-27s would return to their corresponding ships at a safe altitude and on the most direct possible route. They would land, refuel and resupply. The argentine officers would go to debrief meetings and the communication officers of the ships would privately contact the argentine naval HQ and report the successful takeover of the islands. The ships would continue stationed next to the assigned targets, monitoring any potential enemy activity and with all their systems still active. Further south, the ARA General Arenales and ARA Ceibo would have arrived at the Crozet Islands and executed the same procedure as the other ships did before, taking the same precautions and modus operandi, they would inform the French of the takeover. All operations would be done following standard safety procedures, with systems active. Once completed, they would both navigate eastwards towards Kerguelen Islands. Resupply would be provided if required.

Constant encrypted communication would be maintained with other argentine ships and HQ. Payback: having passed more than 24h, the operation would have been considered successful. The 300 argentine marines would have managed to first secure the beach, ordering all civilian population safely to their homes without any incident. No resistance was encountered and local police forces were disarmed and sent to their homes as well. A curfew was put in place for the night hours and the civilian population was advised to stay at home unless it was strictly necessary for them to go out. The city hall would be taken, reviewed for any danger (none found)and converted to serve as temporary HQ of the argentine forces on land. The city of Ajaccio and its vicinities were now under argentine control.

The three argentine LCU’s would return empty to the ARA Carlos Tejedor (A950), ARA Merlo (A945) and ARA Yaguareté (A903) respectively. Docking in to the corresponding facilities and begin resupplying while loading on 100, 100 and 50 fully equipped argentine marines, with the same layout the first landing group had, respectively each. Once ready, the LCU’s would depart, landing each at the same coordinates they had on their previous landing. The mounted machine guns would still be manned and on alert. All navigational systems would still be active. In addition to the 50 marines the LCU from the ARA Yaguarete was carrying, it would also load supply crates with food, medicine, ammunition and encrypted communication devices for the new HQ. This LCU would be loaded up to a safe limit, allowing still for safe operations. Once back at the coast, all three LCU’s would disembark the reinforcements, in the same fashion they did before, who would assemble at the main square, in front of the cathedral, and would be assigned different patrol and control duties. Groups would begin to be formed to take control of the rest of the island and would eventually be sent out to take control of Calvi, Isula Rossa, Ba, Aleria, Porto vecchio and Bonifazio. The cargo would be unloaded from the LCU’s and transported to the new HQ, which would be guarded by a group of 12 marines from the outside, blocking all entrances to uninvited guests. Once done and prepared to depart safely again, the LCU’s would return to the ARA Yaguarete for resupplying, the same route they used during their trips, always on safe waterways and operating on safe distances. During all this, just after the successful first landing was confirmed through encrypted messages, the 5x Agusta Bell 212, with the previously mentioned passengers and preparation would receive green light and take off one after the other, in a safe and orderly fashion, and flight in a direct route, at a safe altitude and at average speed towards the Ajaccio Napoleon Bonaparte Airport. Once there, each would safely land in sequence at the tarmac of the airport, safely unload the marines and immediately head back, flying the same way, to the deck of the ARA Yaguarete, where they would pick up another identical round of marines which were already prepared to board and bring them to the airport in the same way.

After this second batch of reinforcements, 3 of the 5 helicopters would stay at the Ajaccio Airport, the remaining 2 would return to the Yaguarete, one of them would head back to Ajaccio Airport with 10x support crew and air crew (7 and 3) for the helicopters and control tower and leave them at the airport to care for the helicopters there, before heading back at remaining at ARA Yaguarete. The 3 helicopters would be resupplied on land. The marines of the first wave would secure the airport and take control of the control tower and begin monitoring the airspace and the local civilian radars. They would clear the airport grounds from all French personnel and make sure no French stayed inside. A restriction area would be assigned to the airport grounds (same as the main square of the city). No defenses were found. An encrypted message would be sent back to the fleet, informing of the takeover of the airport, now under argentine control. By now, 600 argentine marines had landed on the island and taken control of Ajaccio, its airport and the surroundings. If needed, the argentine marines would consume some of their rations and rest in monitored shifts, but always on alert. In the meantime, the argentine fleet and submarines operating in the area would continue to patrol the Mediterranean French coast as previously indicated or remain stationed in the bay of Ajaccio, according to their corresponding instructions assigned previously, with all systems active and linked. Resupplying would be provided if required.

The argentine submarines would resurface in case having to recharge batteries and renew airflow (after checking there were no threats on sight), and return to their operational depth afterwards. (Roleplaying as France)

With the island of Corsica fully taken by Argentinian forces, the French Parliament would immediately declare a state of no confidence in President Macron and force him to step aside, allowing the military to handle the situation. Forsaking the status of the islands in the hands of the Dutch for the time being, an immediate plan would be drafted in order to retake it as well as destroy the Argentian Naval fleet currently deployed there and eliminate the Marines on the island. Phase One of Operation: Brittle Edge would involve the launching of reconnaissance in order to discover a proper solution to the issue. This would see the first deployment of the Dassault nEUROn, an experimental unmanned combat aircraft capable of flying at 45,000 feet for hours. The 5 Dassault nEUROns, 3 stationed in Lyons and 2 in Toulouse, would be stripped of all their weapons, and would take off and head towards Corsica in a criss-cross pattern. Built for stealth and much more modern than anything that the Argentinian Navy had deployed, it'd easily be able to penetrate the radar shield posted and fly undetected for hours. This was only exacerbated by the fact that the Argentinians had not launched any air patrols. Using this criss-cross pattern, the UCAVs would consistently scan the horizon with high-definition cameras on the way to Corsica, discovering relatively soon that the Argentinian Naval contingent that had made landfall on the island was not only small, but undefended by any aircraft screening.

This information would be instantly be sent back to Paris and in turn, the French Air Force would be mustered to launch an all-out raid to destroy the fleet around Corsica and prepare for a naval landing. 60 Dassault Mirage 2000-5 Mark 2s armed with two Exocet missiles each would be scrambled from their home airport in Lyons along with 2 CASA C-295 AWACs aircraft. 60 Dassault Mirage 2000Cs would also be scrambled from their home airport in Toulousse to act as a second wave. Their loadout would be much more different, carrying 1 Exocet missile and 2 Matra Super 530Ds. The first wave was to eliminate the fleet while the second was to merely mop up and counter any air resistance sent from Alexandria. The 60 Mirage 2000-5s would immediately launch towards the Argentinian fleet taking Corsica Island. With proper reconnaissance already done by the stealthy Dassault nEUROns and still being done in real time, the first wave would be able to cover the 100-mile distance between the Argentinian fleet and mainland France in almost 15 minutes.

However, that was not to be the case. Going airborne first, the C-295 AWACs aircraft would loiter over the safety mainland France, analyzing the data input in from their radar systems as well as the nEUROns, sending these to the two sorties being sent up. Almost quite literally after taking off, the Dassault Mirage 2000-5s would fly in a giant cone, and once reaching 98 nautical miles of the Argentinian ships (within range of the Exocet missile), would launch over 120 Exocet missiles in a giant saturation missile attack and bank to return home. The use of an AWACs to command and control the wave would only help the French Air Force coordinating the assault. With only a small fleet of eight ships, 8 ships would be subjected to almost 14 missiles each coming in as a single wave. Any CIWS operating, or any air defenses of the frigates, would not be enough to cover the entire fleet. In the midst of unloading their marines and without the proper precautions, such as activating air defenses or deploying decoy bouys, the fleet would effectively be caught with their pants down. Any type of air defense would not be enough to avoid the massive saturation bombing taking place. However, due to the lack of any precaution on part of the Argentinian Navy, they would be caught by complete surprise. The fleet would, by all calculations, be completely wiped out by the hundreds of missiles coming in to eviscerate them. After deploying their missiles, the aircraft would immediately return back to their base to re-arm in the same configuration as Wave 2 and would go airborne once again to counter any resistance from Alexandria. They would be efficiently coordinated by the AWACs aircraft watching the skies with their radar for any resistance. Any type of aircraft coming in would be met with a hornet's nest.

Without any sort of reprieve, Wave 2 would arrive with their 60 Dassault Mirage 2000Cs. Once at the same range as the First Wave, they too, would launch their Exocet missiles and return to a holding pattern in the safety of mainland France, away from any active air defenses that the sinking Argentinian fleet would possess. Coming under command of the AWACs, they would circulate and protect the skies of France while preparing for a naval re-taking of Corsica. The fleet that had so threatened mainland France was now sinking to the bottom of the ocean. If, by some small stroke of luck, the fleet was in standing, the waves of aircraft saturating bombing the fleet would continue until they were sunk without reprieve. This would only be done more efficiently due to the close line to the coast of France. The marines that had been launched onto Corsica would effectively be stranded and prevented from any kind of rescue what-so-ever, airborne or naval. They were at the mercy of the French Air Force and Navy and, seeing their tickets out of the island gone, heavily demoralized. A message would be sent to the commander of the Argentinian Marines on Corsica.

"Buenos tardes. Nosotros viniendos."

In preparation for the take-back of Corsica, the French Navy would also get in on the action. Due to the proximity of submarines, the fleet based in Toulon would remain in the safety of their docks. Launching out of Marsielles, 5 Bregeut Atlantique II, fitted with 12 depth charges, would begin to conduct anti-submarine warfare in JN. Their job would only be much easier due to the lack of any Argentinian Air assets and the complete destruction of the fleet. Taking their time, the Atlantiques would operate individually, flying in a cross-cross pattern around the vicinity in JN, hunting for submarines. Due to the Argentinian Submarines operating with active sonar, the Atlantiques would easily encounter the hunter-killers, marking the location of the suspected submarine, and dropping depth charges, heavily damaging any submarines that they encounter. The sonars would be extensively listened to, checking for any sounds of the submarine being sunk. Should they not hear anything, they would re-mark the area of the suspected submarine and remain in the immediate vicinity until the submarine was destroyed. The fact that five are used would only make this much more efficient. They would continue these maritime patrols, taking time to refuel and rearm, switch crews, and get back into battle. Without any form of air defense and operating at radio silence as posted, the submarines would be unable to coordinate with each other and would effectively be at the mercy of the Atlantiques. The submarine fleet would be taken out of commission within hours.

The other 5 Bregeut Atlantique IIs, fitted this time with Mark 48 torpedoes, would instead go West and would fly patterns over the Atlantic Ocean near France to watch for any Argentinian fleets coming through the area. They would have their sonar active and would be actively hunting for Submarines operating in the area. If any Argentinians were to come and help in JN, the French would know about it instantly.

Operating out of Bordeaux, five-thousand French Foreign Legion soldiers would be briefed on an operation to take back Corsica. Due to French air supremacy, it would be determined that the French Foreign Legion would conduct an airdrop onto Corsica using 60 CASA CN-235s stationed in Bordeaux. They would await confirmation of the destruction of the Argentinian Fleet prior to any form of action taken to ensure that the operation is as safe as possible and results in the least amount of casualties.

(Roleplaying as France in a Separate Operation, similar to what Argentina did at the beginning of the Campaign)

While the Air Force had been deployed to destroy the Argentinian fleet threatening Corsica, the French Air Force would begin the process of pacifying Alexandria and securing their Eastern flanks from any Argentinian interference throughout the remainder of the campaign in a separate daring secret night raid titled Operation: Payback. Using the two-wave system that had been used in Operation: Brittle Edge, the French Air Force would launch 100 SEPECAT Jaguars from Paris, escorted by a C-295 AWACs aircraft as well as a small force of 20 Transall C-160s with their refueling probe attached.

The aircraft would be split into two wings, with 50 SEPECAT Jaguars in a full air-to-air combat role and the second in a full ground attack role. The first wave would carry two Sidewinder missiles and the forty of the second would merely be carrying four guided bombs each as well as two anti-radar missiles, with the remaining ten each carrying a special anti-runway guided bomb.

The first wave of SEPECAT Jaguars configured in the ground attack role would quickly depart from their home airport in Paris and would circulate into their squadrons and await the arrival of the second wave. Followed closely by the C-295 AWACs airplane and Transall C-160s, the second wave would follow closely behind, dragging by fifteen minutes and ready to cover the escape of the Jaguars. The squadrons would maintain radio silence throughout to avoid being detected, unless absolutely vital, such as to refuel from the Transall C-160s as they were beyond the range of the aircraft if they had not refueled. Even then, this was done in code words.

Within hours, they would quickly arrive over Alexandria Naval and Air Base and catch the Argentinians by complete surprise. Despite their state of readiness, they had made a series of serious strategic blunders: they had left their ships in the docks (making them easy targets), had no radar systems in place as the three Voronezh Radar systems that the Air Force operated were in Argentina and the Navy had none in their productions and the 20 Kolchuga systems being deployed in cities with 100,000+ inhabitants, but over 24 cities in Argentina were over 100,000, meaning that there were no Kolchugas in Alexandria either (resulting in the French Air Force catching them by complete surprise), had an undermanned SAM system (due to the 1,000 personnel having to tend not only to the base, but to the defenses as well, in a state of high readiness of days, resulting in their exhaustion and neffectiveness) and had no air patrol (allowing them to pick and choose targets at will immediately upon arriving). They were only merely in a state of readiness. All their defenses were in mainland Argentina. Any state of readiness wouldn't matter, they did not have the equipment to back that state up.

Without the use of any radar defense systems or airborne patrols, it would not matter what state of readiness they were in, the Jaguars would arrive on station without so much as a warning. By the time that the picket ships in the harbor were able to pick up the Jaguars and attempt to warn the Argentinians, it would already be far too late. This only increased the combat efficiency of the French. Coming across Alexandria, 25 Jaguars of the first wave as 3 of the anti-runway carrying guided bomb would quickly release their guided bombs on the Naval Base, targetting the naval vessels, the runway to prevent it's use by the Air Force and Naval Aviation, and the Base itself. As soon as this ordinance was released, they would quickly bank and fly back to the safety of mainland France. The bombs would be much more effective as they would be targetting stationary targets, targets unable to move given the time to prepare. Guided Bombs would penetrate the tops of the naval vessels and blowing them up from within in their docks. The anti-runway bomb would also be devastating, destroying the runway and creating a massive hole as to which the lack of engineering services on site would find difficult to repair. The bombs targetting the Base would destroy vital materials, such as fuel tanks and ammunition details, only spreading more damage and preventing the Tu-22s at the Naval Base to operate for the duration of the campaign. They would also serve to disable the Argentinian SAM assets on the ground, utilzing the anti-radiation missiles, they would engage in Wild Weasel tactics in order to target SAM sites and destroy them, further preparing the site for a French invasion.

The French Air Force would only be more efficient due to the presence of the AWACs airplane, guiding and controlling the combat maneuvers to ensure the most efficient combat. The rest of the wave would proceed directly to the Air Base, releasing their bombs on the hangers and catching the Argentinians by complete surprise as well, due to lack of readiness, preparation, or any form of air patrol. The remaining Jaguars carrying anti-runway bombs would release them on the runways, destroying them and preventing any aircraft from taking off. The small size of the airport, given the garrison of 1,000 (half of which are immediate ground crew that are required to tend to their planes) would exacerbate the problem of fully mobilizing a response to the massive amounts of French airplanes arriving on the horizon. By comparison, 54,000 US troops work at Ramstein Air Force Base and it possesses only two runways. The resulting traffic on the road would be extremely congested. Any that managed to get through the confusing traffic, get fueled, get armed, and get airborne would find it extraordinarily difficult to combat given that the French outnumbered the Argentinians (even with the entire Argentinian Air Force in Alexandria mobilized), the lack of an AWACs, or any form of coordination.

By the time this was over, the second wave would already arrive and would begin to engage targets in the air with their air-to-air missiles. Any aircraft that had managed to take off was utterly destroyed in a fireball. Any aircraft that made it airborne would have no place to land due to the destroyed runway. The aircraft, after finishing their campaign and rendering Alexandria inoperable for the remainder of the campaign (while also denying air support to the remaining Argentinian Navy operating in the Mediterranean), would return home, refueling as necessary with the Transall C-160s. After landing, they would be allowed time to rest and to begin preparations for another military operation in a separate wave to further end the Alexandria threat and secure it for France.
