The Prime Minister would ring the Governor-General of Canada on a secure and encrypted line.

Roméo LeBlanc would use a similar line to answer the phone.

"Governor-General Roméo LeBlanc speaking."

"Cough if you have a gun to your head."

"Uh yes, this is Paul Keating here, Prime Minister of Australia. We have some concerns about your recent election... Does the Governor-General have any plans to use his emergency powers? If not, I'm afraid we're going to have to get Buckingham Palace involved..."

Alex

 

[Alex]

"Ah yes... that. I would need the Monarchy's approval before I could do anything. At the moment the situation is extremely sensitive, if not done properly... I fear that violence may occur. However, if we can get into contact with Queen Elizabeth II then I am certain we will be able to figure out a peaceful solution."

Owen

 

[Owen]

"Are you planning on contacting Her Majesty personally?"

[Alex]

"I am currently being pressured to hand in my resignation letter, Mr. Prime Minister. I must first assure that my position as the Governor-General remains intact in fear of a pro-NPC Governor-General replacing me. However, in the meantime if I were to give Australia the permission to contact Her Majesty on my behalf to form up a proper demand of government dissolution while I focus on not being removed then I may be able to delay a resignation and deliver the Royal order before it's too late."
