To: His Excellency the Ambassador of the United States to the Commonwealth of Australia,

I wish to hold a meeting with you as soon as possible to discuss the future of the strong Australia-United States relationship. We recognise that the United States is a critical partner in the Indo-Pacific region and it is the policy of Her Majesty's Government to revitalise our friendship. I look forward to discussing with you at great length the importance of this friendship and how we can work together to secure a better future for our region.
