Tourism Australia would see the opportunities arising from the disagreements between the United States, Sweden and Mexico, utilising travel as a political weapon. There would be a very clear gap in the market for Swedish tourists, American tourists and Mexican tourists as they suddenly find themselves shut out from each other. Tourism Australia would begin broadcasting more and more adverts in Sweden, the United States and Mexico, targeting those tourists and encouraging them to come to Australia. They would be focusing on marketing Australia as a place that remains free and open for all to visit, with a strong, stable and reliable government that would never use tourists as a political pawn.
