To celebrate the anniversary of Brazil's Independence, a Film of the Epic Genre is being produced by none other than Carlos Coimbra, the same director behind "Independence or Death" from 1972.
The Film, named "1866: Tuyutí", will be centered around the Battle of Tuyuti, the biggest battle of the War of the Triplice Alliance and the biggest battle in all of South America's History, it will follow the stories of from the Allied Leadership, with scenes also depicting the Paraguayans.
The Movie promises large scale battles similar of those seen in movies such as Waterloo from 1970, rumours have also spread that the Brazilian Government has helped funding the ambitious project, as well as even comitting units from the Armed Forces to assist in the Reenactment of the Battle and its aftermath.
The movie is set to release in the Weekend of Independence Day across the entire country.
