"This is outrageous! The Department of Justice and Public Security is taking a revisionist posture towards what was the most undemocratic period of our History!" Yelled out one of the Parliamentarians from the Leftist Coalition "Democracy Now!" during their speech.

A Few days after the controversial change made by the Department was made public, the "Democracy Now!" Coalition has put forward a document declaring the Chief's actions as undemocratic and as such, demands their resignation from the position of Chief, the Voting was peaceful, with a few verbal attacks being exchanged between the Coalition and the government parties. however, things quickly became sour, when angered parliamentarians from the Communist Party of Brazil attacked the members of the Brazilian National Movement, the leading party in the Brazilian Parliament, the fist fight quickly became bigger and bigger as more parliamentarians joined in on the fight.

Eventually, Security intervened and separated the fighting Parliamentarians, bringing the vote to an abrupt stop, the Session was closed, and the demands were dropped.

outside, one of the members of the BNM spoke to the journalists on the matter

"
It is very clear that the "Democracy Now!" Coalition wishes to destabilize the Government and create an issue where there clearly isn't one, our Party is already planning on getting rid of these trouble makers from Brazilian Politics."
