Dear President Obama, Canada and America have had strong ties in the past, you have helped this nation when in need for that I am grateful. I hereby invite you to my official residence now that I have taken over as the Foreign Minister to discuss ties and our relations and help to improve them. Canada has a long road ahead of them to restore the nation to its former glory however I do believe with relations with America could help this recovery! I look forward to a reply, Ray B. Vice President, Joe Biden, would pick up the phone on an encrypted line in order to phone the Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs.

 

[JamieA]

With the phone ringing from an official from the American Administration, the Minister would answer the phone making sure that the line was encrypted and secure “Vice President Biden, thank you for getting in touch with me in such a short notice! I hope I haven’t caused any problems within your schedule!” He paused clearing his throat before continuing “On behalf of Canada and the current Canadian Administration, I thank you for your efforts with the recent administration that passed. Everything has died down now and everything is returning to normal but I wish to strengthen our relations for the better of the North America region”

 

[John]

"No problem at all, I am glad to be able to hold talks with you. And there is no thank you necessary, whilst we didn't agree with the nationalist cause, it only seemed right to try and stabilise relations with our neighbours. I am happy to hear you wish to strengthen ties between our two nations, and I believe the best way to start that is a trade agreement, wouldn't you say?"

“Yes I believe so this would result in better trade between our two nations and show that Canada is all about making things right. Do you have one that you can fax over so that I can sign and fax back?

Canada is all about the defence of the North America’s and the friends of Canada. We wish to propose to reinstate NORAD of course this will take time due to the fact Canada has no Airforce at the moment which brings me onto the next topic of mine, what’s the status of production? We currently have numerous American aircraft of a Canadian variant and we are wanting to know are we allowed to produce those freely? Of course, I’m more than happy to sign a Non-Aggression Pact to show that we mean no arm to our friends and neighbors”

"Well before we get onto the details about trade, can you tell me what your main national exports are?

Also, going onto NORAD. We currently have five AN/FPS-132 Upgraded Early Warning Radars operation around the United States, it is possible for us to build another, we were thinking the best location would be Thule Airbase"

“Certainly, they are Wood, machinerys, vechiles, gems and mineral fuels.

Yes that sounds wonderful, if you believe that the radar would benefit being at Thule Airbase then so be it, we totally agree with you”

"Yes, the radar at Thule would give NORAD a complete 360 degree outlook on the North American Continent. Now, looking at what you have to trade, would would be willing to import everything you have listed. Is that something that can be done?"

“That can be arranged however I must say we have no trade vessels as of yet however once we do, I shall get it arranged. What are the States primary exports?

I understand America has blocked the C-17 production that Canada was trying to produce, would it be possible to pay some sort of fee upto $1,000,000,000.00 to allow the production to continue?”

 

[John]

"Well, we will not need vessels as we can trade via land routes? Our exports are: Cars, Refined Petroleum, Aircraft, Pharmaceuticals and Gas Turbines. And yes, that will be fine, we got your notification when the aircraft were blocked. We are more that willing to accept the $1,000,000,000.00 (1billion)."

“Ah yes that is true, I shall arrange this as soon as I’m off the phone! We would like to import Cars, Refined Petroleum, Pharmaceuticals and Gas Turbines.

That is great to hear, I shall transfer the funds now” He’d pause typing away at the computer before speaking again “Transcation ID001, I thank you for allowing the production to continue! What is America’s view on Brazil and the South American region?”

"Well, we have always had a rocky relationship with Argentina, however I believe the President is in discussion with the Government of Argentina in an attempt to reforge ties. However, Brazil... I don't trust them as far as I can throw them. And my old arms cant throw far these days."

The Minister would chuckle before speaking “Yes they are a bit troubling we’ve had a small run in with them already but nothing we cannot handle.

With the Trade routes, what port would you like us to use to deliver goods? We’d like goods deliveries to the Port of Halifax if possible!” He’d pause before continuing “hopefully within the next month or so, The Royal Canadian Airforce should be semi operational. Would the American Air Force and Army be interested in an exercise?”

"Ideally we would like the goods to be delivered to the Port of New York. And yes, we would be more than interested in an exercise"

"That sounds wonderful and we shall get the shipment sent shortly! Would it be possible to get prices for the following: Oshkosh HET, FMTV, M104 Wolverine and the HMETT? We'd be looking to gain the following 25 Oshkosh HET, around 1,212 FMTV, 15 M104 Wolverines and unsure on the numbers of the HMETT"

"Well, we will need to discuss the amounts of products to be exported first before they can be sent. Is there any specific number of products you wish to import? And I will try to get the prices for those soon"

"5,100 Cars, 80,000 DWT Refined Petroleum, 20,600 Containers of Pharmaceuticals and 20,600 Gas Turbines vessel per month"

 

[John]

"That sounds agreeable. What ships do you have available for trade?"

 

[JamieA]

We currently have the 5,100 Car Cargo Vessel and 20,800 TEU Container Vessel. We have some more entering service within the next couple of days (4th Nov) which are the Combi Freighter 19000 and the Tanker 23000"

"Would it be possible to start with single shipments of Wood and Machinery every fortnight into the Port of New York?"
