Ministers of Foreign Affairs, After deliberation by the Core Partners of the Confederation of Independent States through the Political Board of the CIS, it was decided unanimously that the People's Democratic Unitary Republic of Japan and the Russian Federation shall be accepted as Members of the Confederation of Independent States in the form of Supporting Partners. We formally invite you to appoint representatives for the Political Board, please submit their names by responding to this formal message. Once done, you will be given access to all CIS facilities and documentation, according to your current membership status. Considering that your nations joined very early in the constitution of this Confederation, you will be forming part of the structuring of some of its bodies.
