The Council of Ministers, or informally known as the Privy Council, is a formal body of advisors to the sovereign of the Kingdom of Poland. It’s membership mainly comprises of current and former members of either the Senat or the Sejm. The Council of Ministers formally advises the sovereign on the exercise of the Royal Prerogative. The Council advises the sovereign on the Royal Decrees, which are used to grant special status to incorporated bodies, establish new formations of the Armed Forces, and establish temporary legislative provisions. Moreover, the Council of Ministers also advises the sovereign of Poland on global matters they feel requires his immediate attention to better formulate the strategy that the rest of the Government will respond to.
