As viewers in Ireland watched TV a new commercial not yet seen would play across their televisions. The commercial was for the Army Ranger Wing, an elite special operations unit of the Irish Army. The commercial was 2 minutes and 43 seconds long. Many had their eyes glued to the televisions as it played. Many didn't even know that Ireland had a special operations unit. This sparked lots of hype and many came flooding to the recruitment centers. Many however did not qualify for the role. However many still joined the armed forces for their shot to become... ELITE!
