Emergency Services Vehicles

The Emergency Services of Madagascar is currently using outdated and unreliable vehicles for its emergency services. The Kingdom of Madagascar is looking to acquire the following specification of vehicles. Any Civilian model vehicles will be upgraded and modified by the Madagascan Emergency Services for front line vehicles.

High Priority
Fire Engine (Pumper and Ladder)

Vehicles for use as Ambulances (ALS and BLS capable)

Police Armoured Vehicles (SWAT Vehicles)

Medium Priority

Vehicles for use as police cruisers

Air Ambulance Helicopters

Low Priority

Vehicles for use as Police Interceptors

UROVESA has offered to supply the URO VAMTAC in an BLS ambulance variant as well as an armoured variant for the Special Weapons and Tactics forces of the Madagascan police forces. It has also offered to supply the URO M3-24 firefighting rig to Madagascan fire services.

The URO VAMTAC is powered by a Steyr turbocharged six-cylinder diesel engine coupled to an Allison AT-542 4-speed automatic gear box. Producing a maximum power output of 188hp, the engine provides a top speed of 135km/h. The 110l capacity fuel tank allows the vehicle to travel over 600km.

The URO M3-24 operates at a top speed of 100 km/h and has the capacity to carry 300 gallons of water.
