Good afternoon to you, and I must thank you for reaching out to me following the success of your party in the recent elections and the subsequent succession of your administration into power. It would of course be a privilege to visit France in order to discuss the integrity of our relationship and what the future holds between our thriving economies - between us, it's about time I got out of Sweden and started travelling again!

Good afternoon Mister Prime Minister, at the moment, my calander is open and therefore, any date and time that you prefer is ok. I plan to conduct the meeting at my official residence, the Hôtel Matignon. If you could confirm this is okay for you, I will begin making arrangements for you stay.

Please be aware that during your stay, you will be escorted and guarded by members of the Garde Républicaine, however we will also welcome any and all personal security you wish to travel with.

Dear Prime Minister Lionel Jospin,

Thank you for your quick correspondence. I have made the necessary preparations to arrive tomorrow for our meeting, I will be travelling via aircraft under the callsign 'SVERIGE', an Airbus A330-300 part of the Swedish Royal Air Force, Skaraborg Air Force Wing, 1st Special Transport Squadron, 1st Special Transport Flight.

Onboard the aircraft will be my usual aides whom work within the Executive Office of the Prime Minister however they will remain in vehicles outside the hotel for the duration of our meeting. In addition I will be escorted by four agents of the Close Protection Detail, National Security Office - usually these agents are armed with sidearms however on the provision that we will be taken care of by your local law enforcement and security services we are happy to surrender this tradition and keep all weaponry on the aircaft.

If we are required to bring our own vehicles for the travel to Hôtel Matignon please let me know prior to departure tomorrow.
