Hope you are doing great. My name is Jean-Yves Le Drian and I am a foreign minister representing French Republic. I would like to start formal relationship with Kingdom of Sweden. Despite what happened on the past, let us forget and start the relationship. As an European neighboring nation, I would like to discuss our relationship to make it more productive. On behalf of the government of the France, I am writing this letter to you to establish the first official communication between our two nations. I write to you following receipt of your message. Let me start by thanking you for your correspondence which has been greatly received following a very hostile relationship with the previous French administration.

Forgetting the past which included the unnecessary and aggressive banning of Swedish organisations from trading within the borders of France is a difficult task. The previous decisions of your nation has lead to, naturally, economic damage and reputation change that’s likely to be irreparable without significant bilateral relationship change that will undoubtedly take a lot of work. That being said, following consultation with the Bureau for European Affairs that sits within the Swedish Department for Foreign Affairs, I would be happy to join you in a video conference at your earliest convenience.

French Republic, Honorable Jean-Yves Le Drian, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, would make a video call to his Swedish counterpart. The call is encrypted and Secret Call. French Foreign Minister would check the room to make sure that no one is snooping in. He would place in two armed guard. Upon getting green signal from Directorate-General for External Security, the call is full encrypted and top secret.

The call is answered and surveillance authorisation is granted by the Secretary for Foreign Affairs to the Swedish Military Intelligence, this is done with unidentifiable local intelligence equipment and no detectable trace of any recording or monitoring would be recognised at the French end of the call. The Secretary, Margot, would be seated in her office in front of a large window opening up to the Swedish city landscape, beside her is a short flagpole draping the Swedish flag proudly in the background. Naturally this call is encrypted to a 'SECURE' level in line with the Document Security and Classification Act 2013.

"Well previous French government did who knows what with French Republic and other nations. But we are relieving economic sanctions so that both France and Sweden trade won't be affected. My goal is here to establish trade, improve formal relations with our nations. What things can you trade to French Republic?"

"You don't have to tell me that, previous Swedish governments have made mistakes too... fortunately ours have had no lasting impact on your foreign affairs. I do appreciate you alleviating the economic sanctions against us however I do ask where your request has come from, what brings you to Sweden for a trade deal?"

"Well we certainly don't want to see our trade suffer plus Sweden is our neighbor too. So a European must take care of other European. First we can trade Vehicles, Pharmaceuticals, Plastics, Electric Materials to Sweden and in exchange we want Mineral Fuels, Iron, Steel. Which port should we use?"

"I see... You seem to be jumping down my neck for economic benefits and you're showing absolutely no intent to grow relations bilaterally, is that all this call is for? Money?"

"Well Madame Minister, I have no intention for money. All I want our relations normal, so that we can talk about potential activities over the Europe and Egypt. I want trade relations continues so our economy should not suffer in the long run. I also called due to you are French neighbor and we have no doubt that our relationship will benefit mutually. But, since the recent mishap in the world, such as terror attack in the United States and Boko Haram terror issues at Nigeria, makes us worry to keep our nation safe from Caliphate Terror regime. So, my query is if we can share our intelligence, we can solve various problems together.

Egypt is also a nation full of disaster, debt-based society where government has little or no concern about how his nation is functioning. The nation has a full of problems. I believe that this nation, which is Egypt will create havoc in Europe very soon. That's my guts says and feel."

"Trade is something currently under review by the Swedish Department for the Economy, it's certainly something we hold highly bilaterally and isn't established on the first meeting between any nation. Fundamentally I think the items you're suggesting in this meeting such as trade agreements and certainly intelligence sharing capabilities with little to no relationship between our states is jumping a HUGE and important part of our journey together.

Are there any concerns or threats that triggered you to request intelligence sharing?"
