Using an encrypted and secured line, the Federal Foreign Minister Karsten Jürke put a call forwards to his counterpart in Turkey. The discussion on his mind was one that included the reopening of the embassy and consulates in Turkey, so as to properly establish Turkish-German relations; such a discussion had been delayed due to both international and internal affairs, and with tensions finally beginning to wind down somewhat, Karsten found it the best time to finally deal with this subject.
