To His Excellency Dom Modesto Martim Silveira​ Greetings, Germany and Portugal share various common interests and ideals, especially being European nations and Monarchies, I would be honoured if you could accept my invitation to come to Germany and meet with me, in order to cement our growing relations and future relationship. Hopefully you will agree to this, as I want to speak with you about the follow themes. 1- Trade, which I believe should be paramount to start our relations, and engage in profitable trading. 2- European Economic Cooperation, it is important to establish connection with European nations and cooperate in various fronts such as the economy, a more interconnected system which can help us grow together. 3- Security and Defense, Germany views Portugal as a natural possible ally and a future defence partner, it is a objective that we as European Nations to establish a communication line to support each other against counter-terrorism, trade protection and other threats to both our securities. The Portuguese would reply that they would be arriving shortly. Meanwhile, the Foreign Minister and her assigned delegates are making their way to the airport to arrive in Berlin for their visit. They would take a commercial flight to Berlin as scheduled. After confirmation of arrival, she and her associates would make their way to the foreign minister's office to discuss the topics being requested.

The Airport would be ready to receive the Portuguese Foreign Minister, a VIP convoy with a protecting detail of officers and police vehicles would be waiting for his arrival, after they had arrived they would go through customs as usual and given diplomatic immunity until their visit was over.

They would be welcomed by a diplomatic delegation and guided towards the Convoy, a short drive after they would arrive at the Foreign Imperial Ministry where the Minister would be waiting outside to welcome the Portuguese.

"Good Morning, Minister Kinkel. Thank you for the kind invitation. Imperial Germany has been seen in a positive light back home in Lisbon, and we have been meaning to officially start diplomatic relations with one another. If you can show us the way?"

The Minister would smile as she finishes. She wore a simple grey business dress, nothing too extravagant of the sort. Her delegate, comprising of the Foreign Minister's assistants, along with representatives from the Ministry of National Defense, would follow suit. Greeting the guards and the Minister as they walk by.

The Minister would greet his colleague, welcoming her into Germany. The two countries may be separated by a long distance, but a friendship may flourish yet the same. He would guide them to his office and gesture for her to sit down opposite to him, a few pictures would be taken, and after that the meeting would begin. With two glasses of waters and a jar of water next to them.

"It is a great pleasure to have you in Germany, especially a united Germany. How are things back in Portugal?"

"Just got out of our first general election, ever since then, the new Prime Minister seems to be interested in furthering Portugal's stance on international matters. Seems like he got a bit bored after the transitional government. Other than the interior politics, everything seems smooth. How about here in Deutschland? I studied here some 10 years ago, interesting to see how much has changed..."

She would ask for a glass of water, thanking the Germans for their hospitality. After hearing their answer, she would clear her throat.

"Now, let's get right down to business shall we? May you do the honors of opening this meeting."
