[Great Britain]: Message to France

British First Secretary of State, Kyle Chamberlain, has been tasked with initiating relations with the new French Government. The situation surrounding France has a very strong friendship with the UK, but recent instability has prevented any form of cooperation. The British Delegate had initiated a call with the leader of the French Republic, hoping to initiate relations between the two countries and build the friendship to what it once was.

[Nathan]

The French President Charles Aubin proceeds to answer the call from the Secretary of State. The line is encrypted and directly between the two men.

"Good Evening, President Aubin speaking."

 

[Jamie]

"Good Evening. How are you?" spoke the British Delegate, "I'd like to begin by congratulating you on your success in the election and entering office as President. I look forward to seeing the direction your government will be approaching and hope to see cooperation between the UK and France if this is something on your agenda. I'd like to inquire as to your policy on Foreign Affairs, within and outside of Europe, if these parameters have been established?"

"Thank you. In terms of our foreign relations. Currently our main focus is on rebuilding the military after the collapse of the previous government. As you can imagine it is hard to focus on affairs outside of Europe when our own country lacks the necessary equipment presently.

European wise, our main focus will be on building relations with fellow nations including Britain and Germany. In the long term however, we do envision France will return to it's previous status within the global order"
