Dear Ms. Durand, On behalf of the International Motorsport Board - IMB - I would like to extend greet you, and would like to use the opportunity to address you regarding the upcoming International Racing Championship - 1998 Season, which I have the pleasure of overseeing as its Executive Director. In relation to this, thanks to private and public sponsors and benefactors, we were able to secure a considerable amount of money to be used as prizes as rewards for the participating Constructors Teams. Nevertheless, we are interested in proposing Sparrow Industries the possibility of participating in this years exciting championship by partnering up with our organization and enabling bigger rewards for our participants, which will in turn guarantee a more attractive and compelling season, thanks to even more motivation crossing the field. Dear Mr Gutierrez,

I wish to thank you for reaching out to Sparrow Industries and offering us the chance to sponsor the prestigious IRC 1998 season. I wish to apologise that our response has been delayed, as we have been deliberating Sparrow's course of action when it comes to participation in the motorsport world. The recent news surrounding the Mercedes-AMG F1 has spurred us into action. Alongside negotiating a sponsorship deal for the IRC, Sparrow Industries has tasked me with exploring the possibilities around taking over the team.

I'm hoping that I could present an opening offer of $300 million dollars for a take-over of the Mercedes-AMG F1 team, furthermore depending on the terms of the sponsorship deal I can offer at a maximum a $10 billion investment for a two-year deal with IMB.

We understand that you manage a busy schedule and such decisions are not to be taken lightly.We would eb thrilled to see Sparrow Industries take over Mercedes-AMG F1. This particular constructors is last years runner-up and currently the leader in the Constructors Championship, and a consistent contender for race wins and podiums, which makes it hard to image the IRC without it. A take over and perhaps rebranding would surely save the team and a lot of jobs. The bid you presented is more than satisfactory, as it allows to cover the pending debts and credits and also leaves enough margin for the administrative fees. Overall, the amount wouls also have an impact on this years total prize. If your administrative team hurries it might even be able to reflect the change in wonership in this sundays race in Austin, Texas. As for the sponsorship proposal, a 10bn deal, divided into 5bn per season (1998 and 1999 Seasons) is something that certainly interests us, as this would allow for the total handouts for the teams to be valued at around 11bn USD for the present season. Regarding the visualization and marketing perks we can offer your company, we would propose the following: - Rebranding of the current and next season to be officially called "Sparrow Industries International Racing Championship - 1998 Season" - Granting of naming rights to two of this and next years Grand Prixs. (Example: "IRC Sparrow Grand Prix of Germany") - Usage of Sparrow Industries logos and trademarks on race tracks and media sessions. Dear Mr Gutierrez,

The transfer of $300 million has been authorised and should be deposited into your account soon. I am pleased at the pace we have managed to finalise the transfer of team ownership and Sparrow is eager to participate in the upcoming Grand Prix.

In regards to the terms of the sponsorship deal I am willing to agree to a $5 billion investment for this season with a conditional $5 billion investment next season, meaning that the specific contract stipulations for next season's investment will be negotiated at a later stage based on our knowledge of this season's sponsorship effectiveness. I am happy to agree to the current terms, if IBM is willing to guarantee that the season finale will be at least one of the races names after Sparrow Industries.

We look forward to see what innovations and changes the new management brings to this historic IRC F1 team. As for the sponsorship deal, we are very happy to hear that the terms are acceptable. We agree in the "conditional" clause for the next seasons sponsor prize. Dear Mr Gutierrez,

Since we have the fullest faith in IBM's ability to deliver on the agreed upon terms, I have been cleared to immedeatly transfer the promised $5 billion in order to satisfy our end of the agreement and in order to alleviate any fears that we will not renege on the contract.

Feel free to proceed with any official announcement, as Sparrow is preparing to release a press statement prior to the start of the second round of the season. We will hold off on any press conference in order to provide you ample time to confirm all transfers and make the transfer of ownership official with the release of a statement.
