PROCESS

1. Meet all requirements then register your countries Expression of Interest (EOI)
2. Applications are reviewed, and those that pass will become a Membership Action Plan, MAP for short.
3. Work with all members of the alliance to become a full member.

DESCRIBE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA:
Absolutely Neutral. His Majesty's Government has a favorable opinion of the United States, but has yet to have any official contact.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE TO ISAF?:
Although the armed forces of Norway are small, it contains a number of specialized and tactical units that would be able to contribute in times of emergency. There are also a number of domestic, and potentially international, intelligence services in Norway which are specialized and may also be of aid among the member countries. The Kingdom of Norway would be committed to defending the United Kingdom, the United States, and the Kingdom of The Netherlands in ways described by the ISAF Treaty and beyond. In addition to our prowess, we also offer our friendship. The Kingdom of Norway also enjoys a decently respected status internationally and could be utilized in negotiations.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO JOIN THE ALLIANCE?:
The Kingdom of Norway wants to join the Independent States Allied Forces because it sees two members - the Netherlands and Britain - which it has very close ties to. For some time now, Norway has wanted to build closer ties with the United States but hasn't had the opportunity, which has now presented itself. In Norway, ISAF is seen as a stable organization that promotes stability throughout Europe and - in some cases - throughout the world. As a nation with strong democratic institutions and an allegiance to the ideals of freedom of expression, freedom of religion, and other essential liberties, ISAF is seen as a global force for good. It would only make sense that we seek membership to make it that much stronger.

Canada

DESCRIBE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GREAT BRITAIN:
Strong political relationship with Great Britain. Strong ties leading to trade deals as well as other mutual beneficial agreements are in place. Britain is also considered an ally of Canada.

DESCRIBE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE NETHERLANDS:
Although some political engagement has happened with the Netherlands it hasn’t been a fruitful relationship unlike other nations however Canada sees the Netherlands as a strong minded nation that has the opportunity to become a great political presence within the globe.

DESCRIBE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA:
United States and Canada share a border however the relationship between the two is a strong one and is always growing. The United States is considered an ally of Canada

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE TO ISAF?:
Canada has vast lands which it can contribute to Allied Bases as well as a joint training centre for all Allied Forces to use. Canada is expanding military and will contribute its forces for any task forces that are needed. While also have access to both the Atlantic and Pacific, Canada is a stepping stone from other nations and has easy access for any type of employment needed

WHY DO YOU WANT TO JOIN THE ALLIANCE?:
Canada has the same goals of the Independent States Allied Forces which is peace to the globe while ensuring a presence is strong enough to counter any unwanted hostile actions. Canada feels it can work with two of its allies and other nations that are apart of the alliance to be able to bring this goal even closer to being achieved.

DESCRIBE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GREAT BRITAIN:
Spain and Great Britain share a friendly relationship but disagrees on the situation regarding the disputed territory of Gibraltar but is willing to work towards a deal regarding the matter.

DESCRIBE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE NETHERLANDS:
Although no contact has been made under the current government, Spain and the Netherlands share a friendly relationship which has been secured under previous governments.

Although no contact has been made under the current government, Spain and the United Stes share a friendly relationship which has been secured under previous governments.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE TO ISAF?:
Spain currently lacks a full capable armed forces but when the time comes, it is able to contribute units to training exercises and military operations. Spain is also the home of many regions such as mountains and beaches which can be used for training exercises to ensure that troops are trained in the best environments.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO JOIN THE ALLIANCE?:
Spain believes in peace around the world and we also believe in co-operation which is another focus within the alliance, working as a team to make the world a better place for everyone leading into the future, every single person deserves to live in peace and without fear.

Historically French-British Relationship are friendly and will always be friendly in terms of regional and international cooperations. Under the current Macron Administration, French are in talks with Great Britain to improve relationship into a mutual relationship.

DESCRIBE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE NETHERLANDS:
No contact made with the Netherlands yet but France will initiate contact with Netherlands within a few days. France sees Netherlands as a strong minded and peaceful nation that makes presence in global arena.

No contact made with the United States yet but France will initiate contact with USA within a few days. France sees USA as a strong minded and peaceful nation that makes presence in global arena. United States will be the key ally after Netherlands, Great Britain with France.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE TO ISAF?:
At this moment, French Armed Forces are in infant stages. As soon as they are ready, France would like to participate in military exercises where we can learn from other nations and improve our skills to defend our nation. Also help the ISAF allies if needed by politically, economically, militarilly as possible.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO JOIN THE ALLIANCE?:
France would like to join to bring peace and stability in Europe and the world. Working with ISAF, France would like ensure peace and protect nations when they are facing dangers. Every person, every nation should live in peace.

Kingdom of Sweden

DESCRIBE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GREAT BRITAIN:
In honesty, I will not bat around the bush and pretend that the relationship between Sweden and any member states will provide our ticket into ISAF. The SWE-GBR relationship is new-born, the relationship between Great Britain and Sweden is new and developing however we stand together as distant neighbours and I predict a strong and prosperous relationship with Great Britain, in or out of ISAF.

DESCRIBE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE NETHERLANDS:
The SWE-NLD has been exclusively economic thus far and no formal conversations has occurred as yet.

DESCRIBE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA:
The SWE-USA relationship is non-existent thus far however as with all member states Sweden is committed to the development of bi-lateral relationships with the slow development of trust and intelligence-sharing.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE TO ISAF?:
The Expressions of Interest you currently hold from prospective member states detail the military capability of each nation and provides no real overview of the democratic, economical and intelligence sharing abilities which are absolutely fundamental to combating modern international threat. The Kingdom of Sweden has consistently shown an impressive capability to manager internal finances whilst providing a cooperative and democratic approach to domestic and international spending - including the potential for foreign aid, the Department for Finance has undivided values to ensure the smooth running of the state whilst providing support to those in need. The intelligence-focused approach to situations has been a primary solution since the establishment of the Lofven Administration which can be proven by the sections outlined in the Swedish Document Security and Classification Act 2013. Sweden does have a clear and established military capacity but it would be naive and dangerous to think force can resolve all modern disputes.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO JOIN THE ALLIANCE?:
ISAF proves time and time again that their commitment to cooperation and effective, tactical response is a strong and secure manner of forward-processing. Sweden has a desire to move forward in modern politics and whilst we are young in administration, we are not young in knowledge and commitment to democratic prosperity.
