INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE
OFFICE OF THE CHIEF JUSTICE
RECIPIENT: His Excellency Clark Stone, Secretary General of The Global Assembly (@Dutchy )
SENDER: The Honorable Rolfe Olhouser, Chief Justice of The International Court of Justice
SECURITY: Public
Mister Secretary General,
As I am sure you are aware, the French government has recently lost the court case Strömberg v French Sales Incorporated. After attempting to pay in small increments without permission instead of the lump sum, I submitted a formal notice that France was to send the full amount to Strömberg International in the next twelve hours, or I would have the fine raised to $2-billion and recommend to you that the Global Assembly impose economic sanctions on the French Republic.
I have given the French government more than the time allotted in my message, and they have stilled failed to pay, and haven't even responded to my statement made directly to them. Therefor I have no choice but to recommend to you that the Global Assembly begin proceedings to impose serious economic sanctions on the French Republic until they comply with the ICJ's order to pay Strömberg International. If you need more details of the case, the court report is public record, as well as the Majority Opinion written by myself. I look forward to your response.
Very Respectfully,
Rolfe Olhouser
Chief Justice
