To: Mando Safar From: Talia Manischewitz Dearest President Safar, It is without a doubt that both of our nations have had a very negative history and a hostile relationship, at times entering into conflict. With the election of myself as the President of Israel and my cabinet replacing an older and more orthodox government, it is my hopes that we can change this. I hope that you will accept me for a meeting in Cairo to discuss the possibility of opening diplomatic relations between Israel and Egypt and potentially form a proper friendship. I intend to discuss many things with you, including but not limited to: trade, tourism, and our regional neighbors. But if you would prefer, I would be more than happy to host you in either Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. Kindest Regards, Talia Manischewitz President State of Israel |
