Ministry of Defense
After hearing the news of the collapse of the Tanzanian Government, the Ministry of Defense of the State of Japan has decided to recall the military products previously sold to Tanzania. These products were sold via the military sales company of Nippon Defense Industries, with strict and clear terms and conditions. The Ministry of Defense has chosen to invoke these terms and conditions in order to successfully and legally reclaim these products. The term of '*In an event of an inactive, absent or collapsed government, the purchased products will be reclaimed without refund', enables the Japanese Government to reclaim previously sold items if the purchasing nations' government has collapsed, as with the case with Tanzania's, free from any cost to the Japanese Government or Nippon Defences Industries.
The following military equipment will be reclaimed from Tanzania:
-3 units of the Type 88 SSM
-5 units of the Type 92 Mine Clearance Vehicle
-20 units of the Type 74 MBT
-2 units of the Hatsuyuki-Class Destroyer
-20 units of the Mitsubishi F-1
-1 unit of the Akizuki Destroyer-class
-30 units of the Type 73 APC
Although not initially intended for resale, if any other party is interested in purchasing any of these listed products at a discount, please contact the Ministry of Defense. All purchases are subjected to the same Terms and Conditions to Nippon Defense Industries' purchases . Remaining equipment will be re-administered into service in the Japanese Armed Forces.
