Subject: Establishing Diplomatic Relations
Recipient: Albert Arnold Gore Jr., President of the United States of America (Odinson)
Sender: Keizō Obuchi, Prime Minister of the State of Japan
CC: N.A
Good evening Mister President,My name is Keizō Obuchi, the elected Prime Minister of the State of Japan. I am writing to you to, as the subject matter of this E-mail suggest, re-establish diplomatic relations between our two nations. Since the end of the Second World War, the United States and Japan have been close allies and friends. We assisted the United States in its conflicts against Communism here in Asia and have, until recently, housed American forces here in Japan. Myself, the National Diet and His Majesty the Emperor have all come to the agreement that our friendship with the United States is one that matters dearly to us all. So with that said, I would like to invite you to Tokyo so that we may discuss matters that are important to us all.
I look forward to your reply.
Many thanks,
Keizō Obuchi,
Prime Minister of the State of Japan
