Korea - IMB Phone Call

The ROK Minister of Culture, Science, and Tourism would have her office schedule a call with the Director of the IRC Committee Director Gutierrez. The Minister would have to discuss a number of things including the Korean Government's desire to expand tourist visas for a limited amount of time for the event, the facilitation of drivers and vehicles to arrive at the track, and also, a more confidential matter, a unified Korean racing team participation in the Korean-leg of the IRC. The ROK Government would hope that the special occasion would occur during the ROK-DPRK Summit to happen next month, however, they did not view it as feasible. The Minister would enter her office with her translator and staff from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Korean Olympics Committee, and A-1 Racing Team as they sat in the Minister's office.They would have a phone call placed with the ROK Encryption System active for the call.

The personal secretary of the Executive Director of the International Motorsport Board would inform the Republic of Korea's Minister of Culture, Sciente and Tourism that Mr. Gutierrez would happily accept the call and their earliest convenience.

"Minister, thank you for your kind words. We are really happy on how things have been working out at the IRC, we are now only waiting for A1 Korea Racing to finally show its true potential! We are also looking forward to the Korean GP, I'm sure it will be amemorable event. Tell me, how can I be of help?"

"Hopefully they'll get there soon. With practice and time, all things will come. As Confucius's teachings remind us the expectations of life depend upon diligence; the mechanic that would perfect his work must first sharpen his tools. In due time I know A1 will become a major force on the IRC stage. Yes, well, we are working hard with local vendors to keep everything in check and order as well as security. The Foreign Ministry has announced a special visa program to allow more foreign fans to attend the Korean GP portion of the race. The visa program would cover the duration of the Korean Grand Prix and be active two weeks before the event to allow some opportunity to explore Korea and Korean culture. This is in coordination between the A1 Racing Committee in Korea and the Ministry of Culture. The information should be attached in an email to you.

The second matter is very confidential and I ask that we can speak privately about a matter of national importance to Korea within the field of racing. The question is in regards to modifying the Korean racing team for a temporary period as well as possibly submitting an alternative team under a different racing team. I am not well versed in the IRC rules so I hope we could discuss this."
