Blatant metagaming to halt trade between Storhet Auktioner and South Africa. Is it not suspicious that every country I contact in regards to these aircraft are coincidentally contacted by France and conversation always ends up with Storhet Auktioner and eventually their decision to dismiss any deal put in place?

Either Ellie is contacting users behind the scenes in order to stop trade and covering the metagaming with ‘trade deals and diplomacy’ or I’m just part of one huge coincidence?

Of the 10 Active Diplomatic Conversations involving France, only 3 Topics are made by Ellie. These are Call to Iran, Message to Russia and Message to South Africa.
Only 2 of these Conversations mention Storhet Auktioner, and these were first raised by South Africa (Lavenderdame) and the Netherlands (Dutchy) not France.
It's reasonable for the Netherlands to contact France, because they're in the process of accepting First Choice, who share a similar experience with Storhet. The Dutch are a concerned party.

Would you please provide more evidence, whereby France (Ellie) explicitly mentions Storhet Auktioner first?

Nevermind, it isn't worth the time explaining. I have attempted to sell these aircraft several times and conveniently, both the nations I have contacted are then immediated contacted by France (with no prior conversation) and Storhet Auktioner is mentioned out the blue. I suspect Ellie is contacting people either via PM or Discord in order to put a halt to my sales.

I presume from the above you're suggesting that this is a coincidence?

That's correct, this is a coincidence because the Diplomatic Conversations made with France (Ellie) only mention Storhet twice. There isn't enough evidence to make the assumption of Metagaming, using this alone.
Would you mind confirming the 2 Nations you've contacted? I suspect one is South Africa, who mentioned the Company first.

I'll take the hit that it's a coincidence, at least it's mentioned here for future reference.

To clarify, what's said in the thread isn't really of relevance, whilst I understand I don't have the physical evidence to prove metagaming at the moment... I find it way too convenient that every nation I have contacted, out of the blue, is curious of the deal and then immediately ends all communication following contact from France. These two things lead me to the honestly held belief that Ellie is contacting members behind the scenes.

So it doesn't just look like I'm butthurt, I did report a suspicion of metagaming during my deal with France in which she dropped her price by almost 50% after conveniently digging into the origin of the aircraft. As much as she will claim she wanted to clear any national security issues, it's so clear she found my thread and the dirt cheap price I paid for the aircraft and dropped her price to meet it.

For peace of mind, I will ask our Staff Team to monitor the Diplomatic Conversations involving France, and to raise any concerns with the Administrators. Metagaming is very challenging to conquer and that much harder to moderate. Especially when Modern Nations is using a Discord Network, where private conversations are likely taking place without the knowledge of the community.

There are many Roleplayers who conduct themselves in a respectable manner for the RPG. Equally, there are many who don't. The problem we have is uncovering the truth.
