The Russian Federation offers its assistance in combating extremism in all its forms. As Commander of Naval Intelligence, and Director of the Directorate of the Main Staff I have been instructed by the Office of the Presidency to offer all our available resources including the deployment of Russian Special Forces and Intelligence Officers to assist with hostage rescue and counter-terrorism operations.
