"Mayday, Mayday, Mayday. This is the SS Horizon, we are sinking I repeat we are sinking! We have many on board injured" this would be repeated over numerous frequencies. SS Horizon a medium sized cruise liner was enroute to Ontario from the port of Portsmouth, United Kingdom. Unknown why a small hole breached the hull of the vessel and begun taking on water however onboard crews tried numerous times to stop the water from entering.
The vessel rocked side to side numerous times sending passengers flying before landing, passengers would have various injuries from minor to life threatening. The vessel stopped in its tracked, begun to cave to the right. The right side slowly sinking, slowly filling with water.
"Mayday, Mayday, Mayday. This is the SS Horizon, we are sinking I repeat we are sinking! We have many on board injured" was again repeated more times hoping someone one would answer soon...
