After receiving a directive from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the diplomatic staff within the Dutch embassy in Belgrade would begin shredding and burning all sensitive documents while hard-drives and other digital files were deleted destroyed. The Dutch flag would be lowered just before the convoy of diplomatic vehicles, in which all staff were seated, would leave the embassy heading to Belgrado Nikola Tesla Airport. Tickets had been booked on a flight from Belgrade to Amsterdam. A public notice would be released that the Netherlands was retracting it's diplomatic mission to Serbia.

The diplomatic team led by the Ambassador once passing security and customs would board their flight heading back to the Netherlands.

The Serbians would destroy every piece of computerized equipment and shred and burn all papers and hard drives in their Amsterdam embassy. As the staff prepared to vacate their embassy, one of the Gendarmery officers would place a pair of bullets into the ambassador's head, and slump his head body in his seat.

The Serbian Gendarmery would move in to ensure the Netherlands delegation in Belgrade would have safe passage through the riots and demonstrations still going near most of the embassies in Belgrade, while also attempting to guide them away from the going-abouts of the military coup currently taking place in the capital.

With the flight airborne and heading to Amsterdam Schiphol the delegation would be deemed safe and would be scheduled for a debriefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs upon their arrival.

Meanwhile in the Hague, multiple reports of a shooting would be received by the Common Control Room the Hague. With the Serbian Embassy in the Hague located right next to the Main Police Station The Hague. Officers on break outside would immediately head towards the direction of the shots, with their Walther P99Q NL sidearms drawn, pinpointed to the street where the Serbian embassy, secondary units would begin converging on the area with their officers wearing bulletproof vests and allowing the primary officers to put on similar protection.

A perimeter would be formed around the area of the police station, with blockades at the crossings of Burgermester Patijnlaan/Scheveningseweg, Burgermeester Patijnlaan/Alexanderveld, Alexanderplein/Scheveningenweg. Access would be restricted in this area. Police officers on megaphones would be informing everyone to remain insides with doors and windows closed and locked.

With the nearest SWAT team located in Rotterdam, units from the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee would be deployed to support the National Police. 100 special forces operators from the 1st BSB Peleton of the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee would arrive on scene within 10 minutes and take over command and control of the situation. The operators would be armed with Glock 17's, HK416 and multiple stun grenades, furthermore each officer was well protected with full tactical body armour.

Working their way down the street in teams of ten, each scanning the area for any suspects and evacuating civilians to a police checkpoint for identification and to allow the recording of witness statements. As more information came in and the surrounding area turned up clear it was becoming evident that the shots had originated from inside the building of the Serbian embassy. The team would begin converging on the buildings, surrounding the building and covering any exits, once again a megaphone would be used to convey information, "This is the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee, we have reports of shots fired, requesting you evacuate the building with your hands in the air!"

The Gendarme's commander would walk out of the Embassy, hands up, "I was carrying out the sentence, on Serbian soil, of a military tribunal held for our Ambassador's treason against the Ascendancy."

As the special forces operators kept a clear line of fire on the suspect, four officers would carefully move forward with sidearms drawn. Two officers would order the suspect to the ground before applying PlastiCuffs on the suspect and removing him from the scene under a guard of 10 operators. The suspect would be escorted to the nearby police station where he would be registered and placed in a cell under heavy guard.

The remaining officers would continue communication of the megaphone, "is the deputy head of mission available to give consent to a search of the mission?"

A Lieutenant would walk out. "I am the Deputy to the Commissar of this Diplomatic Mission." He would ensure that the document destruction operation was nearing completion before saying, "You may search the Embassy, as this mission is officially being decommissioned.

The team would move in, securing the Serbian personnel and moving them outside where they would be detained and searched for weapons. As they arrived at the ambassadors office they would locate the body and the preliminary cause of death would be noted as multiple gun shot wounds to the head. With the embassy cleared the team would move out.

A detective from the National Police would walk towards the Deputy Commissar before asking, "was anyone else involved in the shooting of the Ambassador?"

"No. Our orders were to wash the floors and buff the windows," The Gendarme would be compliant but only in a snarky, uncooperative way, telling half-truths but being unserious about it, and generally only letting on as little as possible. "Look, I've got 5 Gendarmes and 20 staff to get to a chartered flight, can we speed this up?"

"Sir, I believe you do not understand the gravity of the situation, one of your staff members has just committed murder. So this process can be sped up by you answering my questions with full honesty, otherwise I must resort to questioning you staff as eyewitnesses to the crime," the detective would respond as he scribbled down notes.

“Sorry Sir, but until the 48 hours given oyr embassy to vacate are expired, this is Serbian Territory, meaning actions carried out in pursuance of official sentences cannot, by definition, be murder.

With the collapse of both the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian Ascendancy the Serbian Gendarme would be arrested on suspicion of murder as the investigation into the killing of the Serbian ambassador continued. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs would offer the diplomatic staff the right to apply for political asylum, any that requested to return to Serbia would be escorted by the National Police to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol where they would be placed on a plane to Belgrade.

A forensic team from the National Police would begin investigating the crime scene while detectives would begin questioning the suspects at Penitentiaire Inrichting Haaglanden where they would remain for the duration of the investigation and trial.
