"Hello, sir, Vice President Adetokunbo Kayode of Nigeria here, I was hoping to discuss the proposed arms deal between my nation and your Company in further depth, it has recently become an essential part of our military doctrine to have an effective and organized equipment roster, largely supplied by one or perhaps two dealers."

"It's great to hear that Nigeria is looking to build up its military doctrine and I'm happy that the French Defence Industry is on the list of potential dealers. Is there anything specific that the Nigerian Armed Forces are looking for? Furthermore, what price range for equipment would best suit Nigeria?"

"To put it simply sir, our armed forces are in need of all kinds of modern equipment. Currently we are looking for mobilization for 40,000 men, as well as artillery, tanks, logistics, and helicopters. We are confident in your industrial capacity to meet our needs and it is one of the reasons we have contacted you. We would be most interested in hearing proposals for meeting our arms contract. I will fax a copy to you immediately."

An Encrypted Fax with the following document would be faxed to the French Defense Industries:

Nigerian Army Contract #001

-Mechanized Mobilization for at least 40,000 troops
-Support Artillery including Rocket Artillery
-At Least 200 Heavy Main Battle Tanks
-At Least 400 Main Battle Tanks
-At Least 800 Infantry Fighting Vehicles
-Transport and Attack Helicopters
-Logistical Support

"Wonderful, the fax has been received. Would you mind giving us a few hours and we'll return to you with a few possible contracts on mobilizing these 40,000 troops?"

"Thank you for the wait, Vice President Kayode. The French Defense Industry was able to work out three potential offers for the Nigerian Armed Forces to purchase. They go from the most modern, but expensive, equipment that we can sell to older but much cheaper equipment. Unfortunately, however, the French Defence Industry is no longer able to sell helicopters, we hope that this will not be a necessity for a sale."

The CEO would privately fax all three options to the Vice President of Nigeria

"If any of these proposals seem appealing to the Nigerian Armed Forces then we could work out a financial payment, perhaps Nigeria could bay the sum of these proposals in a number of monthly payments? Or perhaps Nigeria would like to make their own proposal? Entirely up to you and your people, Mr. Vice President."

"We are very happy with the first proposal, and would be interesting in securing it as well as a contract to make the French Defense Industries the exclusive equipment provider for Nigerian Regular Ground Forces, with an exception for equipment produced domestically or equipment to fill a niche that your own industries cannot meet. We would suggest a simple payment plan, with half of the amount being exchanged upon the beginning of the order and the other half to be delivered with delivery of the equipment. We would also request that the equipment be produced in batches of no more than 500 units at one time to ensure a rapid production off of the assembly line.

Further the acquisition of 10 Al Madinah-class Guided Missile Frigates is essential to the build up of our navy and we would like these productions included with this order if at all possible."

"That's great to hear! I'm happy that the French Defense Industry was capable of meeting the Nigerian Regular Ground Forces' needs. The simple payment plan of half the payment now and the second half when the equipment is delivered is suitable for the Industry. The equipment can certainly be produced in batches of 500 to accelerate the completion of the full batch.

Each of the Al Madinah-class Guided Missile Frigates cost 100,000,000.00$, the ten costing a total of 1,000,000,000.00$. If this is suitable for Nigeria then we can add the one billion dollars to the total order price which would give us a total of 7,550,000,000.00$. The first half of the payment will be 3,775,000,000.00$, upon France receiving this payment, the Industry will begin production of everything that Nigeria has ordered."

"We are eager for production to begin and have transferred the funds. We are hopeful that this deal will further stimulate a relationship between our two nations. I would like to invite you to Abuja, the most populous planned city on earth, here we can meet and discuss further terms and agreements regarding maintenance and technical support. Further we would be interested in inviting members of the French Government to attend such a meeting with you, so as to further the investment and support offered bilaterally between our two nations.

I will direct my Minister of State to write an official state invitation to your government, but I would be remiss if I did not invite you as well. I am looking most forward to our close working relationship."
