[Norway] Phone Call

Norway's Minister of War, Kristoffer Solberg, picked up the phone in his office and made a secure call the Brazilian Department of War and Defense and requested to speak to Chief Antonio de Quadros Peixoto. He patiently waited to be connected while he sat alone in his office.

Chief Peixoto would be notified of the call, after making sure the line was properly encrypted and secure, he would answer.

"Hello, this is Chief Antonio de Quadros Peixoto of the Department of War and Defense, how can I help you, Mr Minister?"

"Thank you for taking this call on such short notice, Chief Peixoto. I hope that you are doing well. Elements of the Norwegian Royal Coast Guard and some other naval forces have been planning an at-sea exercise in the Southern Atlantic for some months now. We were planning to refuel one of our tankers in French Guiana, however some minor complications with the French government means that we are not able to do so. I would really appreciate it if you would allow our tanker to refuel somewhere in the geographical area of Natal or Recife - this operation has been many months in the planning and a delay could force us to have to cancel it. The Ministry of War would be in debt to you if you were able to accommodate us this small favor," he said.

"I understand the urgency of the call Minister Solberg, I will speak to the authorities to allow your ships to refuel in Natal, that way if any of the other ships involved in your exercise also need to refuel, Just send a message to the department once your ship has left the port so that I know that everything went smoothly."

"That is fantastic to hear, thank you very much for your assistance. I will inform the Royal Coast Guard right away," he said. If there was nothing else to be discussed, he would say his goodbyes and end the phone call.
