New Zealand with respect towards its gracious counterparts and hosts in Ankara, wishes at this point in time to begin the process of evacuating its citizens and bearers of nationality from Turkey. In compliance with this decision, our office of foreign affairs has decided to close its embassy along with its affiliated consulates effective thereafter. We humbly request a month to execute the undertaken mentioned above, on a final note my country's government wishes to maintain fraternal relations in continuity with the policies of the previous administration. Turkish diplomatic facilities on New Zealand soil will be allowed to remain unhindered out of good will. I am awaiting your response.
