Operation Background |

Following strained relations with Israel and the ever present, ever growing military force of Israel, the cabinet of the Turkish Armed force with the approval of 3/4 of the Grand National Assembly and the president have decided to initiate Operation Dawn Breaker to secure Turkish water and International waters bordering Israel. In addition multiple air force Aircraft will be flown into Iskenderun AFB in the city of Iskenderun South of Adana. The goal is to intimidate Israel and show the military prowess of Turkey in an live operation rather than a military display(Parade). Naval forces will be supplied to endure a months long operation and will occasionally when stated return to Naval HQ to resuply though certain vessels will be resuplied by Akar class Replenishment vessels that will go from the mainland to the fleet. All Vessels would also be carrying their indicated aircraft as stated in the command Structure, this includes 6 BAE Sea Harrier GR9A on flagship TCG Istanbul and the various helicopters deployed on their respective Frigates and the flagship. Toal Personnel Stationed on Naval Craft: 4,039 Iskenderun AFB Navy Air Force Deployment 1st Naval Patrol Squadron: 4 Lockheed AP-3C Orion, 6 Pilots + 9 Flight crew. Air Force 8th AWACS reconnaissance Squadron: 2 Embraer R-99A EMB 145 AEW&C, 4 pilots and 6 flight crew. 2nd Fighter Squadron: 12 F-16A/B Fighting Falcon, 12 Pilots 3rd Fighter Squadron: 12 F-16A/B Fighting Falcon, 12 Pilots Incirlik AFB Air Force 5th Fighter Squadron: 16 F-5E Tiger II, 16 Pilots 27th Helicopter Transport Squadron: 3 S-76B, 6 Pilots Total Air Forces Personnel: 71 +300 Ground Crew Turkish Air Defense Network 1 MIM-104 Patriot Missile system already stationed in Iskenderun, near Adana 1 MIM-104 Patriot Missile system already stationed in Adana, close to Incirlik AFB 6 ZIPKIN PMSS SAM systems, to be transported by the 10th Transport wing via C-130 to Both Airbases. All aircraft would Already be stationed at said airbases and Naval Vessels would take about ~1 Day to arrive at their destinations outside of Israeli Territorial waters. The Southern fleet and 3rd Task force would have major vessels in standard formation together while light attack craft, Attack Submarines, and Coast Guard Vessels would patrol the entirety of the border of International waters with Israeli Waters. Further details would be described later in the operation as It took place. All vessels and aircraft(if applicable) are fully armed with standard weaponry. All of this would be done in relative secrecy though it would be quite obvious immediately to the media and other nations the full scope of the operation very soon. As previously stated, all vessels will be fully loaded with all supplies for at least one month and will dock or be resupplied when necessary. All of this would occur in the area of (KM). Saudi Arabia would be notified of the operation and would happily be accepted to join if they so choose. Egypt would notified that Turkish Naval Vessels would be near their own territorial waters but that Turkish Vessels would not interfere with any operations by Egypt. All Turkish Civilian Vessels would Be directed away from the area and Turkish Civilian Aircraft departing from Turkey would be told to avoid the area as well. Further details will be added once vessels reach their intended destination. |
