Once they had all Arrived at the Port of Augusta, they would make way for the Strait of Sicily, where they would begin patrolling around Pantelleria, using Active Sonar, as well as using their multipurpose naval radars. The HRMS St Thomas of Assisi would make anchor off the coast of Pantelleria, and deploy its active sonar as well. Meanwhile, a message would be transmitted over open maritime radio channels, ordering all military forces to avoid the Strait of Sicily, and informing them that entrance to the strait was currently being refused to all forces belligerent in the current situation in South America.
