Operation: SOUTHERN LIBERATION |
>> Information Below is Highly Encrypted and Secret <<
After the hijacking of the previous Prime Minister, Viroj Pao-in's plane, and the insurgent terrorists using it as a weapon against the Thai people by crashing it into Baiyoke Tower II in Bangkok it was concluded that the insurgencies in the south were no longer a concern left to the regional police but that of the Royal Rattanakosin Armed Forces and the Fourth Army and support units were deployed to the southern provinces. The Thai special forces would also be planned to be deployed into the southern provinces for special operations once the chaos had settled down in the provinces. For now, a total of ~58,000 troops were deployed against the insurgencies who are speculated to have numbers as high as 30,000. The Royal Armed Forces would work closely with the Royal Rattanakosin Police to make progress. |
