To: Dian Triansyah Djani - Indonesia representative to the Global Assembly
Greetings.
First off all, I apologize if this message came in the wrong time. I am writing to you not to vote for Shunmugam Jayakumar of Singapore. As you may have known from the past, despite being sovereign states, Singapore and China still uphold to their "One China Policy". Such One China Policy might pose a threat to Indonesia, particularly to your Natuna Island claims where the PRC lays claim off. And PRC is a supporter of Singapore.
I would advise that either you vote for Vietnam or much better, vote for Teodoro Locsin Jr. of the Philippines. Philippines had strong relationship with your predecessor government. And we are obviously keen in renewing those strong ties once our President Rodrigo Duterte concludes his visit to Japan (our strong military ally).
Should Indonesia cast their vote in favor of the Philippines, rest assured that Philippines will support Indonesia in all it's progressive global endeavors. And rest assured, Philippines will become an ally of Indonesia - in economics, military, and politics.
Sincerely yours,
Alan Peter Cayetano
Secretary - Department of Foreign Affairs
