Another day, in the Presidential Palace in Warsaw, Poland...
Andrzej stirred awake in his quarters, in Room 11, the private bedroom for the Polish President. Szarik, Andrzej's new German shepherd, lay down by his feet. The dog was a year old... well, not exactly. Szarik was eleven months old, considered a 'Presidential Puppy' by the Big Three. Nonetheless, Andrzej adored the young dog, much as he had adored Józef. The dog was given as a gift to Beata Szydło, the current Prime Minister of Poland. Andrzej leaned up from his sleeping position and rubbed the dog's ear. The dog let out a soft bark in Andrzej's direction. He let out a chuckle at the dog's mouthiness.
Szarik was a familiar name to Andrzej. It comes from the 21 episode series named Czterej pancerni i pies, or Four tankers and a dog. Andrzej used to enjoy the show as a kid, as did much of Poland in the early 70s up until today. Szarik was the name of the dog who served as a main character throughout the story. Everybody loved Szarik. In fact, they loved the dog so much that after his death, he was taxidermied and placed in a museum for WW2 history.
After some time of messing about with the dog Andrzej decided to get up from his bed and go find something to eat. He did so, but not before brushing his teeth and putting on some casual clothes, consisting of a red sweatshirt, a grey polyester t-shirt, dark blue denim jeans, underwear, a patrol cap in Polish Woodland camouflage, black crew socks, and Timberland hiking boots. He also slapped on his Vostok Amphibia diver's watch, complete with a leather bund strap in top-grain leather.
Andrzej had decided to go skiing today, by himself. He truly needed a break from all of this political work. He just needed to relax for some months now. He was stressed, maybe eating a tad unhealthily. Nonetheless, Andrzej stepped behind the wheel of his Audi A8 L Security, complete with bulletproof glass among other security features. He needed no driver. Today, he was the driver. This was his day off.
"Szarik, come." Andrzej beckoned for the dog. Szarik listened and stepped out, and began to roll in the thick snow. His nose quickly grew cold, as he continued to poke it through the snow, like a spear. The dog pounced on his own shadow.
"Szarik, are you drunk?" Duda let out a chuckle at the immature dog, his hot breath forming a thick cloud out in front of him. Szarik barked and layed down, digging his paws into the cold and soft snow. The dog loved the snow. Hell, he enjoyed any weather, just as long as he got to be outside. After talking with the dog, and playing with him, Andrzej trotted over to the trunk of the A8, and opened it. He pulled out his skiing apparel, as well as a Bluetooth speaker. He turned it on, configured it, and began to play Deszcze niespokojne, the main theme for Czterej pancerni i pies. He also began to change for skiing. Andrzej fitted his skis, and hit the Master's slopes, one of the most challenging courses in all of Europe. Andrzej, however, was a natural. He seemed like an aircraft, performing seemingly unhumanlike maneuvers. He twisted and turned like some sort of professional, which he was.
