Polish Sanctions against Australia

Andrzej Duda would announce that the Sejm has voted to enact strict travel, goods, and diplomatic sanctions against Australia.

Duda has also made it public that following this engagement, Virgin Australia could also see debarment from the Star Alliance airline group. This was confirmed this morning as Duda made all matters official to the Polish press.

Swedish representative Ann Linde, Minister for Union Affairs and Trade recommends that Poland get involved in the an international discussion regarding the situation in Australia. Whilst the domestic action of Poland is preferred over military moves suggested by Brazil, it was noted that communication is key and nations should not make spur-of-the-moment decisions that could impact tourism, net income and trade.
