I am contacting you in behalf of the Portuguese government to discuss the fate of rogue sailors and their ship for trespassing sovereign waters. These men have been detained in Portugal for a maximum of 2 months, and we request that the judicial system of your government may also have a hand in this. If so, we can begin the extradition process. With regards to the ship, we are willing to send it back to you, as long as her crew are properly disciplined out of respect for Portuguese sovereignty.

Allow us to apologize for the late reply, the Naval High Command has been experiencing issues with communication as of late and thus has not had the oppurtunity to attend to the matter at hand.

It has come to our attention that the Leopold has gone rogue having left its docking at Ostend several weeks ago on its so called maiden voyage. Consequently, we were not aware of infiltration on the part of communists nor were we aware of operations conducted abroad in the name of the King's Navy.

It is our intention, to court martial the offenders in question and transfer the ship out of military service. The Naval High Command shall issue a directive regarding infiltration and subversive activity, All Communists will be discharged at once!
