To: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Egypt From: Tang Jiaxuan To Whom It May Concern, I am contacting you on behalf of the People's Republic of China as its Foreign Affairs Minister. Paramount Leader Hu Jintao has made it China's foreign affairs policy to secure diplomatic ties with as many nations as possible; regardless of prior history, politics, ideology, and location. With that said, China has contacted the Republic of Egypt with the belief that your nation is by far the strongest military power in Africa, the Middle East, and even the Mediterranean; only rivaled by France. Furthermore, it is believed that only our two nations are the only nations on the global stage that are not apart of the international entity known as the 'Global Assembly' and it is China's belief that we should keep close ties and support each other were there anything to happen against our nations related to the Global Assembly such as sanctions. With these points said, I believe our the best way to begin ties between our two nations is to open trade routes. China would be able to export the following goods to Egypt: electrical machinery, machinery including computers, consumer goods, vehicles, and articles of iron and steel. China, in turn, would be interested in importing crude oil and copper from Egypt. China would be able to sail the exports to the Suez itself while Egypt will be able to use a number of ports such as: Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Dalian. Additionally, we would like to know Egypt's stance on other nations. What is your foreign affairs stance? Kindest Regards, Tang Jiaxuan Minister of Foreign Affairs People's Republic of China |
