| PROJECT INFORMATION | As part of the urban renovation project of the nations capital, to be on elvel with the expected economic growth, the city administration invested a total of 54 million USD to revamp the municipality’s headquarters for the first time in its 57 year history. The renovation work involved landscaping, renovating offices and the 850-seat theater hall as well as building new facilities such as a children’s playground inside the premises of the Municipality, covering a 50,000Sqm area. Aside from improving the facilities that serve as sea of the capital city of Ethiopia, making governance more efficient, the construction works will contribute to re-activate the local ecnoomy by creating jobs in the cosntruction and service area. It is also expected that once finished, the new facilities will be able to absorb an icrneased amount of personnel. |
