PROJECT INFORMATION | The Congo's subpar hospitals and healthcare systems need a significant revamp, and so this project will be commissioned to help improve the health of our citizens. Kinshasha- Being the largest city in the country, it will be the base for the most modernized hospital in the country. Costing $200m it will be 500,000 square feet and have room for over 150 beds, administrative areas, specialty units, and extensive operating and emergency rooms. It will also receive a more moderate hospital that is 300,000 square feet, costs $120m, includes administrative areas, emergency and operating rooms, and enough space for 120 beds. Lubumbashi and Mbuji-Mayi- Each of these cities, with populations around one million, will receive an average-sized hospital of 300,000 square feet and with a cost of $120m. Includes administrative areas, emergency and operating rooms, and enough space for 120 beds. Kisangani, Masina, Kananga, Likasi, and Kolwezi- Each of these cities, with populations roughly between four hundred and five hundred thousand, will receive $60m micro-hospitals with 150,000 square feet and an emergency department, outpatient surgical facilities, and limited administrative areas. |
