PROJECT INFORMATION | With the recent acquisition of various large naval warships, the Israeli navy has had difficulties finding docking space for them all. To find a solution to this problem, the Israeli government has agreed to fund an infrastructure project to build a large naval base along the Mediterranean Sea as to give the ships enough room to dock and allow them to patrol the surrounding waters and enable them to use this base for refueling and resupply in the case of war or conflict. The base would be built outside of Tel Aviv, far out of the way from any settlement, and the waters nearby would also be patrolled by the Israeli Coast Guard to assure that no ships or civilian comes close to the base. On land, fences would be built around the base with soldiers patrolling and assuring no trespassers. There would be enough accommodations for all the ships operatives along with signal operators and officers along with the patrolling guards. There would also be accommodations for the engineers and other up-keep crew. Within the base itself: enough space for 6 destroyers, 6 frigates, two replenishment oilers, and three landing platform docks to moor along side the many docks, equipment to perform mechanical and maintenance on the boats and the base itself, and lastly there would be storage for supplies and ammunition. The location of the naval base would be 31.981492, 34.725607 and the surrounding areas. When being built it would be assured that no one would be able to document the base without being noticed and would also be built far enough away from any settlement to avoid being a disturbance. The naval base would be named Rishon Naval Base. |
