PROJECT INFORMATION | This projects is focused on integrating North and South pipelines to allow integrated energy solutions and distributions on a north-south capacity. Primarily though deliveries through ports in Busan and refineries in Pyeongtak, which would flow upstream to the North and vise-versa between pipelines along ROK-PRC. The pipelines will be built with environmental safeguards including emergency wells to temporarily shut portions of the pipeline during build ups. The expansion will cover improvements as well as laying new pipelines, with ecological reports to be conducted to ensure pipelines built with conscious effort to maintain and preserve the environment. The energy infrastructure will cover more than 1,500km and 1,202km of pipelines. Incorporating latest technology and advanced management systems, the pipelines would be a crucial part of the energy integration of the Korea peninsula and advance relations with neighboring countries. |
