PROJECT INFORMATION | The Lancia ATGM is a fire-and-forget anti-tank/anti-armor missile indigenously developed by the Defense Industries Association of the Philippines (DIAP) for the need of a cost effective anti-armor standoff weapon. The Lancia ATGM has a tandem-charged high explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warhead capable of penetrating through 1,000mm armor and explosive reactive armor (ERA). The missile default mode of operation is top-attack: hitting tanks on the more vulnerable top section where armor is less. The missile can also operate in direct-attack mode which for destroying bunkers and other static and moving targets. The missile can also hit enemy helicopter and low-flying subsonic aircraft in direct-fire mode. When launched from a GPC-AT1 "Lancador" man-portable launcher, the missile can also operate in non-line of sight (NLOS) mode which enables the launcher to fire the missile in a concealed position. 1.)
