PROJECT INFORMATION | The total healthcare reform package will cover expansion towards ambulances, health equipment ( Equipment which constantly measures blood pressure, oxygen level, and other vital signs, anesthesia machine, aspiration/suction pumps, sterilizer., blood chemistry analyze, c-arm system – unit, monitor, table, dialysis machines, surgical lights, blanket and fluid Warmer, cast saws,MRI, and other advanced medical equipment. The reforms will expand subsidized healthcare education at top universities for low-income students, gradual increasing of the number of doctors in rural and non-urban communities through post-medical school contracts that would make it necessary for certain beneficiaries of state subsidies to work in rural communities, and integrated digitalized network of medical information for eased access to care for patients across the country. Major cities of Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Jeonju, Chongchu, Incheon, Gwangju, Ulsan, and Sejong are the primary participant with gradual expansion to encompass the whole country These reforms seek to expand healthcare coverage, address the medical deficit in the country, and increase incentives for Korean doctors to remain in Korea. |
