| PROJECT INFORMATION |  The Taiwan-class guided missile destroyer, Taiwanese natively-designed guided missile stealth destroyer designed by China Shipbuilding Corporation, Taiwan (CSBC) represents the largest step forwards for what is swiftly becoming one of the world's prime arms industry innovators and developers. To reduce reliance of foreign arms purchases, Taiwanese government took an initiative to produce self sufficient indigenous guided missile destroyer to protect nation maritime boundaries and fight against foreign enemies. To make Taiwan Navy strongest and deterrent maritime forces in the Asia, indigenous shipbuilding will help the country to build regional hegemony.
