This includes all city roads and highways. This project does not include rural roads or unpaved roads. Mexico has done a similar infrastructure project in the past; however, it is time to improve the road networks that connect Mexico. Along with the road networks there will also be new highspeed fiber optic cables put in for highspeed internet to be available in Mexico. New telephone lines will also be installed. The poles will be made from stainless steel and wood, while the fiber optic cables would connect them. The Mexican Government has authorized a $1 Billion Dollar investment to the Secretary of Communications and Transportaion. They plan to have this project completed within 2 months' time span. This would create approximately. 25,000 new jobs to the construction and telecommunications industry. |
